It took a bit of hard work to get Jerec into the barn. Soon enough he was lying down on a cold metal table, his limbs strapped in place. "So how are we going to do this?" Markus had a wicked smile on his face. "I think teeth first. Then sight. We can finish it off with hearing."

I nodded, setting my arms on the metal between his legs. I tapped on the metal, before he started thrashing around. "What the fuck!" I stood up and walked to my left, opening a box of sedatives. I watched Markus tell the man to be quiet. His loud booming voice made my hands shaky. Soon his voice was breaking and he couldn't yell anymore.

"Now that you've calmed down," Markus hissed, his jaw clenching. I steadied myself and listened to what he had to say. "Have you had many girls hit on you? Do you think you're attractive?" Markus' hands were tracing patterns on the man's skin. "Yes," he croaked, his body squirming around on the table. "What about those pearly whites? Did you get braces as a kid, maybe some teeth whitener here and there?" There were tears now, streaming from the seemingly hard man. "My girlfriend, I need to see her again," his voice cracked.

I laughed, walking over to him. I soaked my finger in his tears and wiped it on his shirt. "So you wanted to cheat on her? Don't you dare say that you weren't. Either you're lying to us about having a girlfriend to save yourself or lying about loving her. Both are wrong answers."

I tapped my fingers on his lips, watching Markus move to get the tools. He walked back with a contraption to keep his mouth open, and a pair of pliers in his hands. My heart rate was accelerating from excitement and I spread his mouth open and put the contraption in his mouth. I attached the sides to the table and watched Markus reach over to his mouth. He lightly put the pliers over his right front tooth. "Ready?" I nodded my head and focused on the tooth.

He clamped the pliers on the tooth and Jarec was already whimpering. With a rusty movement, Markus pulled the tooth from its socket. There was lots of blood and I looked away, rushing to the drawers to get to wash cloths.

I handed one to Markus and he pulled another one, this time a high pitched squeak coming from Jerec's throat. His mouth was filling up with blood, quickly. The sounds of him choking on the thick liquid made goosebumps form on my skin, and a thin layer of sweat coated my forehead as I attempted to soak the blood with wash rags.

"Keira let me handle it," Markus said, setting a hand on my forearm. I shook his hand off and backed away, looking to the stairs. I ran up them, settling in the corner between the dresser and vanity. Was it anger? Was it grief? All I know is that it's too overwhelming.
