Max's point of view
"Mom, I have a problem." I tell Linda.
"Love wise?" She asks and I nod. "Then wait until Stella is home, I'm not good with love things."
"But I need help now." I try to convince her.
Finally, after a puppy eyed glare and a cute as hell pout, she gives in.
"Tell me, buddy."
"You know this girl I've been talking to right? Alex?" I say and she nods. "Well I told her that I love her."
"So?"
"She blocked me."
"Well shit." My mother curses. "But do you love her really? Like, love love?"
"I think so, I mean I really like her."
"Love is a big word, Max, you can't just spit it out like that. I'm sure you scared the hell out of her."
"So in other words, I fucked up."
"Badly."
