Y/n's POV.

I stared out of the window at the sky hoping that it would rain again like the other night. The clock had just strucked twelve noon and I could already hear some people snore from the back of my head. I sat on my desk with an open notebook  and a pencil on my left hand. My hands moved on its own as my mind started to speak.

Seasons changed and days went by, yet Maryline sat all alone at the park bench. She waited for him until midnight every day, hoping he would come but all she could ever do was hold back her tears until everyone left. She was broken in side. She never felt the same like she did back then. She remembered his words when he first came to rescue her. 'Why? 'Cause it's delicious.'

I smiled as I wrote down. "What are you writting?" A hand landed on my desk as I was writting. I quickly turned over the book upside down, so that he cannot read it. I glared at him. "What do you want, Haechan?" I asked. "Nothing. I was bored, so I just came over to your desk."

Donghyuck or Haechan has been my best friend ever since fifth grade and we were and are still  as solid as a rock, even though he gets on my nerves sometimes.
I closed the note book and kept it inside my bag. I stood up from my chair and observed Haechan's weird expression. "What's with you?" I asked. He simply smiled and replied, "Nothing." I laughed and brushed off my hair from my shoulders.
"You and your nothings." I said trying to sound more sassy.

Even though I knew I couldn't.

"I gotta go. Yeri will be waiting for me outside." I said as I moved out of my desk. "I am surprised that you and Yeri didn't get extra classes!" Haechan groaned as he sat down on his chair. "Why? Well, that's because we study harder than you." Haechan wasn't that bad at his studies but lately his grades were falling from grace. None of us knew the reason why.

"Bye. Have fun in the class." I said and moved out of the class to find Yeri standing outside of my class.
"There you are! Finally!" She said.
"Sorry, I was cought up with Mr. Lee Donghyuck since he wasn't happy with the fact that he got the special classes while we didn't." Yeri laughed at that.

Yeri was also my best friend, who came after Haechan. We had a great start together. "Let's get going." I suggested.
We walked out of the school gate entrance and walked our way home. "So your Dad is remarring again?" Yeri asked as we walked side by side.
I looked up at the sky above my head and gazed.
(bless me) "Achoo!" I suddenly sneezed. Yeri laughed at my pathetic state. "You always sneeze when you look up at the sky." She commented. It was true that I always sneeze but I don't like it at all.

"So about the remarrying-" I started at a low tune. "He already married." I sighed as I looked down at my feet. "Oh! And you did mention about your stepmom bringing her own kid, right?" She asked. Well she is always hyper to know anything that's going around her but that's what I like about her.

"Yeah. She did bring and it turned out to be one of our senior." I sighed and kept walking. It's been tiring since they just moved in and all of a sudden I had to adjust with my new stepbrother.
Yeri laughed and turned towards me.
"What's so funny? " I asked, confused.
"You know, your story reminds me of a novel I read online on wattpad." She said with a hunch.

Shit.What if she finds out!

"Do you really read those stuffs?" I said trying to pretend. If she finds that out its going to be a huge embarassment for me. "Yeah. It's really good and it helps me to kill my time." Yeri replied as she placed her hand on her forehead trying to remember the name of the novel. "Anyways, Yeri I'll see you tomorrow. I have something to do on my way home. Bye and take care." I said as we reached her stop.
'Cool! Bye and see you tomorrow!'
