Lisa's P.O.V.
*a year later*
I woke up in the morning and felt a bit cold. Oh, no! Jisoo forgot to close the window again! I picked my phone up, and checked the date, like I do every morning. Oh, shit! I thought as I stared at the screen. It's audition day today! Jisoo, Rosé and I have been preparing for this audition in a really long time. We really wanted to start a band, and become worldwide famous. Till then, though, we had to pass this audition.
"Lisa-yah!" Jisoo exclaimed, coming into our room with Rosé. "Two hours to the audition. I'm so nervous!"
"Ahhh, me too!" I approved. "I think we will pass, though, cause we worked a lot and we are talented, but we have to do our best whatsoever."
"Yep, agreed on that one", Rosé said. "Anyways, let's have breakfast and get dressed. We shouldn't be late, right?"

*2 hours later*
The girls and I have found ourselves in front of the company's headquarters in just a few hours. We couldn't believe it! We knew it was a grandiose building, but never could've even imagined it was that big.
"Lalisa Manoban, Kim Jisoo, and Park Chaeyoung", the guard shouted. "You are invited inside."
We held each other's hands and ran inside like three kids. We got into the elevator and got to the second floor, where they held the auditions. We looked around in excitement, to see a bunch of other nervous auditioners who were ready to become trainees and then idols, just like us. We walked slowly towards three free chairs, and sat down in order to wait for the audition to start. I took out my phone when I started to get bored and started scrolling through Instagram and whatnot. I got bored of that too, so I put my phone away in Jisoo's backpack, since I forgot mine in the car. I started moving my hands frantically. When was the audition going to start, and why was it taking them so long?! Everyone was starting to lose patience, and get even more nervous. I started looking around. I looked in front of me, and saw a familiar face. Well, not specifically FAMILIAR; I didn't know who it was, but I was sure I have seen that face before. And...that elegancy...very special.

IT WAS THE GIRL WE GOT KIDNAPPED BECAUSE OF! I couldn't believe my eyes.

She seemed so chill, I was surprised. How was she going to pass the dance audition with those heels? My feet hurt only looking at them. Was she going to change them before dancing? I wonder if she remembers me. Right then, she looked up and saw me. By the facial expression, I could tell she remembered me.

Should I start a conversation with her? I mean, we got kidnapped together; it's weird that we didn't keep in touch afterwards

Should I start a conversation with her? I mean, we got kidnapped together; it's weird that we didn't keep in touch afterwards. As I always do, I looked over at Jisoo and Rosé to see if they noticed her. Telepathy again: they did!
"I'm gonna go talk to her", I whispered to Jisoo and Rosé. "It's gonna be awkward if she remembers me, but she seems nice. We could be friends, right? Especially if we will end up working in the same company. We should get along!"
Jisoo and Rosé looked at me as if they've seen a ghost. They knew that I usually wasn't so social and willing to make friends, but this time I dared to do it.
"Hi", I said, sitting next to the girl. "Is this seat occupied?"
"No, it's fine, you can sit", she said, smiling awkwardly.
After a short moment of silence, I decided to start a conversation.
"I'm Lisa, and these are my friends, Jisoo and Rosé", I said, pointing at the two girls, who bowed when she looked at them. "What's your name?"
"Jennie", she said confidently. "Jennie Kim."
"Jennie? Wow, that's a beautiful name! Are you half American or something?" I asked. Maybe I've said too much, but I was very curious to find out more about her.
"No, I'm fully Korean", she answered. "But I lived in New Zealand for a long time."
"Oh, so did I! I was actually born there. Seems like we have something in common already", Rosé interrupted.
Jennie smiled.
"Are you Korean?" she asked me.
"No, I'm Thai", I answered.
"Wow, that's great! Well, your Korean is very good", she said, giggling.
I laughed. She really was as nice as I imagined!
"Do you live with your parents?" I asked her.
"No", she sighed. "I came back to Korea alone last year; my dad lives in the USA and my mom in Japan. I have to admit that I don't really enjoy living here alone; imagine that in my first day here, a gang kidnapped me. At least I wasn't kidnapped alone, there were three more girls-"
She stopped and looked at us. She was shocked.
"I-It was you!" she said. "You were the other three girls! Thank you so much for helping me then!"
I wasn't expecting her to do that since she seemed so cold-hearted, but she hugged us. Maybe she was our new friend, as I was thinking initially.
