there is a metaphorical graveyard in my heart
buried there is people, relationships and things i've lost through the years
i wander through it looking at the graves knowing they'll be buried forever
it's not beautiful
it hurts
i cry over everything and everyone i lost most days even though i shouldn't
they shouldn't matter to me anymore but they do
they always do
