they say people who love you are like the sun but you were my moon
you lit up my darkest nights
i couldn't help but marvel in your beauty
every single bad dream i had you chased away
you comforted me when i was terrified
never once did you get scared and run from me
it scared you sometimes but you still managed to be my moon
to this day i always look at the moon and think of you
