Chapter 25 Best day!

It's seriously Zoey. My dear friend. I open and close my mouth like a fish. I'm lost in my memory and she continues. "Dobro pozhalovat' v Indiyu, my rady, chto vy zdes'(Welcome to India, we are pleased to have you here)" I have no idea what's she is talking about neither Koushik.

"Ne za chto! Davayte yest'. Eto appetitno(It's my pleasure! Let's eat. It's appetizing)" he said gesturing food. This girl also replied "Da! My prinosili radost' vam, ser.Eto vasha lyubimaya kukhnya(yeah! We made effects to pleasure you sir. These are your favourite cuisine)" she said with smile.

Now she looked us. No. She looked Koushik. She smiled at Koushik but not me. Did she forget me? I was her hippo. I was disappointed now but left the feeling aside and started to go with the flow.

"Posle obeda ya obyazatel'no posetil nash zavod(After lunch I made sure to have a visit our factory)" she told something and smiled. Koushik smiled too. Am I the only one who don't know Russian now.

"After lunch let's have visit to our factory, Koushik. Sorry....sir" she told Koushik. I could clearly see change in expression in Koushik 's face. They all sat in the dinning, I was left alone. Why can't she see me? Am I invisible now? I tried to walk out from the dinning hall.

"Aaradana, come and sit here " Koushik gestured to sit near me. I felt very happy. I took fast strides and went near him. I sat. Koushik whispered "is she the one you booked for translator?" I nodded my head in no. He didn't reply me.

I started to eat. Koushik pulled my hands. Whats wrong with him? I wanted to ask him but I can't now. I looked questionably. He nodded his head in no. I placed my fork back to the table.

Mr. Muro started to eat. Zoey smiled at him all the time. How can she smile like that. Doesn't her mouth pain?

"Eta yeda sootvetstvuyet vashemu vkusu?(Does these food match your taste?)" She asked something again and he smile wholeheartedly "Da! Zdorovo(yeah! It's great.)" He told something. I was left clueless. Someone please translate it. Now everybody stared to eat so did i.

The lunch was over. Zoey turned to Koushik "I have made all the arrangements in the factory. We can go now" she turned to me.

I smiled at her. "Hippo! It's been a long days. You should've tried to call me" I breathed out atlast. I have no idea how long I have been holding my breathe. I laughed at her "oh my! I thought you forgot me" I couldn't hold my tears. I hugged her.

"Let's catch up our old times after work" she told wiping my happy tears and I nodded my head. Right now I'm in cloud nine. It's always great to meet your childhood friends after a long time and the best part is when she is still the same Zoey.

We were visiting our factory. I felt like Koushik is absolutely silent. Again Zoey and Mr. Muro were talking something in Russian maybe about investments. I felt very bored.

After few hours Mr. Muro said "YA vstrechayus' seychas. YA vernus' k vam posle etogo(I have meeting now. I'll get back to you afterwards)" and Zoey replied "YA ozhidayu polozhitel'nogo otveta sir (I'm expecting a positive reply sir)" with a smile. He then turned to Koushik "U vas simpatichnaya i umnaya sekretarsha (You have a pretty and smart secretary)"

Koushik smiled and forwarded his hand for handshake as if he understood the entire conversation. He turned to Zoey and she translated. Then Mr. Muro left.

"Good job Zoey" he appreciated her and I smiled like a crack, I was happy for my friend. "And you" he pointed his finger to me. The day is getting bad to worse "never ever show your face in front of me because of you I might have lost a huge investment. Your still silly and childish. Grow up women. Don't you know what condition is our office at? If you don't just leave" telling this....oh no barking this he left. Zoey gave me a sad face which I reciprocated as a sad smile. What can she do now? It's all my mistake.
