"Shoot, I forgot." Fitz said. "Keefe!! Get over here."
"What?" Keefe asked, oblivious to what they forgot.
"We forgot to set up our base." Sophie explained.
"Easy fix. Our base will be right here," Keefe answered. He opened his mouth to say something, but other words escaped his mouth. "I'll stay back here so you guys can do your cognate duties. And who knows, maybe Sophie will finally figure out why everyone, especially you, is acting weird." Keefe pointed to Fitz as he said that, and a blush from Fitz was his reply.
"Ooookay then," Sophie said, trying not to think about what Keefe said. She took Fitz's hand, and made a new, simpler plan. "Keefe will guard our base. Fitz and I will track their thoughts, and we are sticking together. I'll keep my mind open to yours if anything goes wrong, Keefe." When both boys nodded, Sophie exclaimed, "Let's go kick some butt!!"
