Sir dragged me through the house until we got to his office. I could tell how angry he was by the grip he had on my wrist, but just looking at him, you wouldn't think he would be angry one bit. And that was even more scary.

We walked through the rest of the pack members that were my age and they could clearly see the predicament I was in. They whispered and laughed with each other like this was nothing. Like my pain was nothing.

   They were truly disgusting beings.

I thought I was doing so good. I haven't had a beating in almost two weeks and worried that I'm not numb to the pain anymore. This beating would really hurt. I can just tell by the look on his face.

We made it to his office and he shoved through the door as soon as he opened it. I fell to the ground with a wince and shakily backed up further into the room. Sir was stalking towards me and he yanked me up by the hair. I could feel each strand coming out of my head from where he pulled.

"Look at the mess you didn't clean up," he hissed, " I wanted my papers organized when I came back and the place vacuumed and dusted. These things clearly aren't done."

With each thing he told me I should've done, he kept yanking at my head harder and harder— shoving my face in front of everything I didn't do.

Stray tears started falling from my eyes from the pain.

I noticed that Liam was in the room near the bookshelves. He was probably talking with Sir before his attention was directed towards me.

He turned me around and right away, a fist came flying at my face. The force was so hard, it sent me flying across the room, on the wall and back on the ground.

My vision was already starting to fade out and I was already starting to see stars.

I was on the ground and he started kicking me. Each kick I could feel crushing and breaking a rib. One after the other. I started coughing up blood, even adding more to the mess by staining the floor.

"You're worthless! You should've done what you were told!" He was furious. He was screaming.

I was in pain. So much pain. Just because I decided to be a bit more lazy with my day. I really can't have anything special.

Sir stopped kicking me and yanked me up again and threw me at his desk. "But you might not be completely worthless after all," he sneered. I stared up at him confused, but soon found out what he meant. The horrifying meaning of what he meant.

He started undoing his belt with that same sadistic smile on his face.

I was full on crying now. His has never happened before. Sir hasn't done this in the past. He said that I was disgusting. That he would be disgracing his wife with the looks of me. But why now? Why me?

As if the universe heard me a voice spoke.

"Dad! I'll take it from here. I do these things remember? I'm the only one that can." Liam said. He stepped in between me and his father, trying to convince him.

Sir stared intently at Liam, like he forgot that he was even in here. Liam held his stare and by the way he was standing in front of me, he wasn't backing down.

Slightly nodding, Sir pushed Liam out of the way and yanked me up again. I winced and was hiccuping due to the heavy crying. Being pushed into Liam's arms was like a dream come true. One of the only times things went my way was the most convenient for me.

"Go" was the last word I heard when walking out of his office. I was leaning against Liam for support. My sides were aching and the pain from the bruises on my face were already throbbing. Every time I moved all I felt was pain.
