ISABELLA

"Zach, what if they find a way out?" I asked Zach nervously still thinking about our parents.

But on the other hand, he looked calm.

"Bella, they need a key. They won't be out at least until tomorrow"

"But what if-" I got cut off by my phone and Zach's phone ringing at the same time.

I looked at my contact number...it was my mom.

"Don't answer." Zach said. He grabbed my phone and turned it off. Then he did the same thing with his.

"Where are we even going?" I asked him.

"I need to show you something special to me" he says.

I just nod and turn my attention back out the window.

"Zach, if we get kidnapped I swear to god"

"We won't get kidnapped." He said laughing.

It isn't funny.

I swear if we get kidnapped. I mean, we are in the middle of the woods.

Zach brought me here because he wanted to show me 'something special'.

What can be so special about the god damn woods?

"It's okay. I got you" he said as he grabs my hand and intertwined them with his.

"It's up there" Zach said as he pointed to a tree.

Up there? On a tree?

I looked up as soon as Zach and I made a stop under the certain tree he had pointed at.

It was a tree house.

"It's a tree house?" I said which it came out sounding like a question.

"But it's not just any tree house Bella. It's so special"

"What's so special about it?" I asked him.

"Let's climb up and I'll tell you" he says.

"Hell to the no. I'm not going up there. It's so high and I'm just not climbing that tree"

"Why? I'll be down here in case you fall." He says.

"Just grab the branches on the side. You won't fall trust me" he adds.

I roll my eyes playfully and just give up.
It's just a god damn tree house. A high one.

I climbed up slowly as I looked down once in a while making sure Zach is still down there in case I fall. And he was.

When I finally reached the little door, I entered to see how nicely designed it was.

It had a small mattress with cute big pillows, blankets, a small tv, and some clothes just hanging on one side of the wall.

"I built it when I was 10 which was 7 years ago. I usually come here when my parents get into a fight or when I just need some time to think" Zach said interrupting me from my thoughts.

I haven't even noticed that he had already climbed up.

"Your parents fight?" I softly asked him.
