ISABELLA

"Family of Zach Herron" the doctors voice startles us.

We all had been in the waiting room for hours waiting for news but the doctors didn't come out.

Zach's mom was getting really inpatient, she even started screaming at the nurses for simply just working.

Which I don't blame her, I got impatient too.

The silence in the room made me even more nervous. We all had been quiet the whole time.

Waiting and waiting.

Until now that the doctors finally came out to give us news, it was now around 11pm.

Because yes, the doctors took that long to come out.

The nurse had said it was because supposedly Zach wasn't reacting to the anesthesia, and they weren't going to start the surgery with Zach still awake and feeling everything.

Then they said that since he didn't react to the first bit, they had to wait a few minutes in order to apply more since it was dangerous to apply so much at once.

Finally after a few tries, Zach's body reacted to the anesthesia and he fell asleep.

Then another problem occurred, the doctor taking forever to change into his surgery clothes.

And then another one. Zach was loosing way to much blood so they had to get more help.

"I'm his mother, and this is his father" Myta says to the doctor as we all stand up.

He nods.

"How is he?" Josh asks.

"Zach had a few complications. Luckily we controlled them on time" he explains.

Everyone together let's out a relief sigh.

Thank god.

"Thankfully, we were able to take out the bullet safely. But...due to the amount of lost blood, he is very weak and the wound is not healed yet so we don't want him doing any force or movements that involve many strength. He isn't strong enough yet. If he were to do those things, the wound can open up and everything will get worse" he explains.

"As in for right now, he isn't safe. Things can get complicated still. For that reason we will maintain him under intensive care until he shows improvement" he adds.

"Can we go see him?" Josh asks.

"Only one person at a time is allowed" the doctor responds.

"The room number is #1012, you can ask any nurse and they'll lead you to the room"

"He still hasn't woken up from the anesthesia so please be patient, don't push him with too much questions because that can hurt him"

"Thank you so much doctor" Myta says and shakes his hand.

"I don't know what that young boy had in mind or what he was thinking of when the fight occurred" the doctor adds.
