I looked towards Luke and furrowed my eyebrows. What the heck was he doing here?

I could swear that a smirk formed on Luke's lips once his eyes met Zach's but it quickly disappeared when his eyes met mine.

I immediately looked away and turned my attention towards Zach. He was glaring at Luke.

"Oh my god, Alex, my dear" My mother suddenly speaks, interrupting the awkward silence that filled the room because of the intense glares.

"Are you okay?"

"Alex?"

"What happened?"

"What did they do to you?"

Questions of all kind were being asked towards my brother.

"He's hurt ma'am, be careful" Luke's voice stops my mom from hugging him.

As my mother took in Luke's words, her eyes widened. She quickly scanned my brother's body for any injuries. Her expression turned even colder when she looked down at his arms.

"Alex, w-what happened" she stuttered, grabbing his arm and pulling him to lay down on the couch.

"He's also hurt mom, he's shot. You
n-need to call the doctor" Alex voice trembled as he pointed to Luke.

Hurt?

"What? Who is he, and why are both of you guys hurt?" Mom nervously asked.

"H-He saved me mom, but Luke a-also got hurt" Alex stuttered.

"Okay honey, you need to calm down and take a deep breathe. Let me see your injuries" she says.

My brother groaned as he tried lifting up his shirt and taking it off. When the shirt was off, all of our eyes widened.

Alex had a big knife cut, as if they had just ran it all over his arm. Blood dripping down as the injury was still vivid. I turned my attention to Zach noticing how he was still glaring at Luke.

"Wait, Luke are you okay?" My dad asked when he saw Luke leaning on the wall with sweat on his forehead.

He had a fever.

"Dad he is shot. H-Help him please" Alex reminded them.

My dad and some of the security guards of the house ran towards Luke, checking him.

"Lucy, call the doctor!" I order one of the maids. Nodding, she runs her way towards the kitchen.

"Let's take you to your room, and you to a guest room. Your sister just ordered a doctor and once he checks on both of you, you're explaining everything" my father says, grabbing Alex's other good arm and wrapping it on his shoulder to support him as he walked just like one of the security guards with Luke.

We all immediately followed behind them, Luke glaring at Zach and Ben as he passed by with the help of the guards.

The guards took Luke to the guest bedroom, across from Alex's bedroom. My parents went into Alex's room with him.
