hello, I am super happy- This book is getting really successful on wattpad and I wanted to let you all know I am beyond grateful for your support!!

I fluttered my eyes ever so gently

The bright hospital lights nearly blinded my sleepy state. I slowly turned my head, trying to remember my surroundings

The hospital, Noah, Ricin, all the memories came flooding back so quickly it hurt my brain to process everything.

I stood up, my hand instinctively remembering the liquid and crystal that was hanging from a string around my neck. My eyes widened as I remembered I had to cure Noah

I rushed over to his side, pushing a shocked nurse aside roughly as I struggled to reach him. Noah's state was obviously worse... at this point he barley looked like the man I knew beforehand

The entirety of his skin was covered in a black substance that looked like tendrils. It was almost looked like his views turned into a dark, pitch obsidian rather than the usual beet red.

His screams were by far the worst part. I could barley process all the things going on with Noah but his shouts of pain... those would haunt my dreams for centuries. His lungs contracted and his vocal cords strained to produce the shocking and chilling sound.

I could barley look, but I knew I had to. For Noah's sake, so all this could be over with

I snapped the chain around my neck roughly, pulling it in front of me. I flicked the top of the crystal off with ease and it bounced to the floor with a soft clink. I didn't have time to inspect the substance, time was a luxury at this point. Mere seconds could determine if Noah dies or lives

I forced his head against the countertop, his body thrashing around as a response. The restraints could only do so much.

His head snapped to face mine, his eyes were blood red, a sign that a werewolf was dying. I grimaced and flinched back ever so slightly, it took a lot in me to see someone so important to me in this state.

I prayed he was ok, I prayed this substance would cure him. I pried his mouth open and brought the crystal to his lips. I quickly poured all of the liquid out into his mouth, waiting for him to swallow

He gulped the teaspoon worth of cure and instantly his body grew still. The previously noisy and obnoxiously loud setting died down as his body laid there limply. A doctor immidiantly rushed to my side, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion at the sudden change of Noah's condition.

"Somebody give me his vitals!" The doctor nearly screeched. Suddenly the room bustled with life again, nurses moved anxiously to collect information about anything while countless doctors checked charts trying to find an explination

A women grabbed my arm from behind me and dragged me out of the room, I was too shocked and stunned to contest. Ricin's liquid actually worked

---- 2 hours later -----

My hands cupped my face as I blankly stared at the same smudge against the white tiles of the hospital floor. I was here for what felt like forever.

A nurse came out to greet me a few seconds ago, she told me all the updates about Noah. He was still in a crtical condition but the disease was rapidly slowing down, which was beyond incredible considering the fatal state he used to be in

My heart felt slightly at ease knowing that he would be ok soon, but it still shocked and concerned me that he wouldn't get better and something would unexpectedly go wrong

I still didn't have time to dwell on Ricin's warning, and in all truth- I didn't really want to think about it. It scared me to know that she died and a war could come as a result
