Kyle looked stunned when he saw me, staring at the three new colours in my hair, "What happened? Did a rainbow throw up on you?"

"No, I just got my hair partially dyed and couldn't decide on one colour," I told him, rolling my eyes at him.

"Sounds like something you'd do, Elijah would never do more than one  colour," he said, smiling at me as he took the coloured hair in his right hand, "it kinda looks good on you."

"Oh? Wait...what do you mean 'kinda'?" I asked accusingly, smacking his hand away from my hair.

"I meant that it looks nice, jeez. You're so defensive," he grumbled, crossing his arms.

"I won't hesitate to kick you where the sun don't shine," I said, glaring half-heartedly at my friend.

His eyes widened slightly, "I'd prefer if that didn't happen."

"Glad we're on the same page then," I muttered.

Levi gave me an odd look, "What's with the colour?"

"Why? Do you like it?" I teased, sticking my tongue out at him playfully.

"Definitely not, it looks ridiculous," he said, "it makes you look gay."

I rose an eyebrow at him, "Not exactly what I was going for, but it works."

Kyle poked me in the arm, "Why're you talking to him?"

I turned to look at him. "Cause I can, duh," I said simply.

He narrowed his eyes at me. "I thought you didn't like him!" he exclaimed, making Levi rise his eyebrows in amusement.

"I don't," I protested, crossing my arms as I frowned at him.

"Aw, does someone have a crush?" Levi taunted before he turned away, a smile on his face.

"Jerk," I mumbled, looking down at my desk.

"That went well," Kyle mumbled sarcastically.

"I don't get what you see in that guy," Kyle grumbled, sitting up against the wall near my bed.

"I don't get it either, one minute he's an ass and the next he isn't. I just don't get it," I muttered, burying my head in my hands.

"You do  like him though, right? Like have a crush on him?" the brunette asked.

My head snapped up so I could stare at him with wide eyes and pink cheeks, "What? No way!"

"I knew it," he mumbled, "you're so screwed."

"Shut up," I said as my phone went off.

I immediately checked my phone, smiling slightly at the message.

From Rivaille:

Just so you know, I really did like your hair...it was cute. I guess I'm still pretty bad with the compliments, huh?

"Who's that? Last time I checked, Dan and Kai were your only other friends," Kyle said, narrowing his eyes at me in suspicion.

"Hm? It's no one important, and I'm allowed to have friends you don't know about," I said, huffing in annoyance.

From Me:

Aw, thanks. x

After I had sent the message, my phone was snatched out of my hands as Kyle looked over the messages. I instantly sprung up and tried to take it back from him, though, he moved it out of my reach as he looked back at me with a smug look.

"Who's this 'Rivaille' guy, hm? Finally got yourself a boyfriend or what?" he teased, handing me back my phone.

I took it from him, sticking out my tongue, "He's just a friend, and mind your own business."

"You must like him if your telling me to butt out of it," he said, "but seriously, who is he?"

"None of your business," I muttered, crossing my arms.

"Wait a minute...that name sounds familiar, I'm sure I've heard it before," he mumbled, his eyebrows knitting together as he tried to figure it out. I was just hoping he didn't remember when I told him all of this.

His eyes lit up, "Wasn't that the name of that one really short character? What was his name Le...Levi, right? Oh...no" His eyes went wide and he kept his eyes locked on me.

"Oh my god! Don't tell me this is Levi's number!" he exclaimed, placing both his hands firmly on my shoulders.

"No?"

"How'd you get his number?!" he questioned in shock.

"He gave it to me," I answered.

"Say what now?"

"He gave it to me, it confused me too," I said, watching as Kyle tried to comprehend the fact that Levi willingly gave me his number.

"No wonder you don't understand him," he mumbled, "maybe he's bipolar."

"I don't think so."

"What is he trying to do?"

I shrugged, "Not sure. Sometimes he's somewhat nice, then other times he's a bit of a jerk."

"Rude."
