"Remind me what we're doing again?" I asked, walking quickly to keep up with Levi.

Stupid short legs.

"Study date at the public library, remember?" he reminded me, grabbing onto my hand as we continued to walk.

"Oh...if you need me, I'll be hiding in the manga section," I said, opening the glass door for Levi and myself.

"What do backwards books have to do with studying?" he asked, following after me as I led myself to my favourite section of the library.

I glanced back at the brunette, "Everything."

"That doesn't make any sense," he told me, blinking a few times in confusion.

"Whatever, let me be a book hermit," I muttered, watching as he continued to follow after me.

When I started browsing the shelves of magnificent manga, Levi shook his head as he took a seat at a nearby table, putting our bags down on the floor next to the chairs.

I took a few books off the shelves before I joined Levi at the table. He just rose an eyebrow at the small pile of books I had set down, he just had some of his school books out, along with a stack of papers.

"What? I like reading," I said, opening one of the books I had brought with me.

"An adorable nerd in their natural habitat," he commented, smiling slightly at me.

"I'm not nerd," I argued, "okay...maybe just a bit."

"Adorable."

Levi set down a thermos next to me, taking another one out for himself. I narrowed my eyes at it, poking it in the side.

"What is this?" I questioned, wearily bringing it closer to me.

"I'm determined to get you to like coffee. I tried to make it as sweet as physically possible," he told me, taking a sip of what I assumed was either tea or coffee.

"Um...thanks?" I said, sniffing at the coffee that was inside.

I didn't trust it.

"It's not poisoned, stop acting like it is," Levi commented, crossing his arms.

"How can I be sure it isn't?" I asked, pursing my lips.

Levi took the cup from me, taking a sip from it before handing it back to me, "Will you try it now?"

"Fine," I muttered, taking a sip of the coffee.

It was sweet and tasted of vanilla, only being slightly bitter. I guess it was okay...

"Hm," I hummed. "It's good."

"I'm glad you liked it," he said, smiling sweetly at me.

"I love you," I mumbled, continuing to read my book.

Levi looked up at me, his cheeks a light pink, "What was that?"

My face went warm when I registered that I had said that out loud, "Hm? Nothing. I didn't say anything."

He rose his eyebrows at me, "You said you love me?"

"What?! No."

"Be quiet," the brunette said. "I love you too."

I cleared my throat, my face going red as I continued looking down at my book.

"Literally the cutest thing in the world."

"You're the cutest thing to ever exist," Levi commented, pecking me on the lips.

"Why do you keep complimenting me?" I asked, pressing a kiss to his cheek.

"Because I want to remind you how amazing you are," he said, kissing my lips a few more times.

"Thanks," I mumbled, resting my head against Levi's neck.

"I'm just surprised no one's walked in on us," he told me, running his hand through my hair.

"I threatened my brother, my younger sister is at her friend's house, and my older sister is in college. So really, there're only three of us home right now," I replied, pressing my lips to Levi's neck.

He chuckled, "What are you doing?"

"Nothing."

The brunette tugged on my hair, pulling me off of his neck. I smiled and leaned into press my lips to Levi's and that's when the door flew open.

"What the hell!?" I heard a voice screech.

I jumped off of my spot on Levi's lap, near tumbling off my bed in the process. I was thankful for the arm he had wrapped around my waist earlier.

I glanced over at an enraged looking Kyle, smiling nervously while Kyle glared at me and Levi.

Damn it, Elijah.

"This isn't what it looks like!" I exclaimed, waving my hands around in the air.

"It looked like you two were making out," Kyle grumbled, crossing his arms at me.

"Oh...then it is what it looked like."

"What the hell was happening in here? Why were you kissing that bastard?" he shouted, stalking over to Levi, who made a break for my window.

Unfortunately, the window was locked and he had no idea how to open it, that, and there was also a screen on the outside too. I don't think he would've mind jumping off the roof from a second story window.

He turned back around with terrified, wide eyes, "We can talk this out, right? Please tell me we can talk this out."

"Ky, don't hurt him," I said, looking up at the angered brunette.

He near growled, taking a seat as far away from me as possible on the bed, his arms still crossed, "What was going on in here, explain."

Levi opened his mouth to say something, but I ended up cutting him off. "Levi is my boyfriend!" I blurted, covering my mouth with my hands as my face went pink.

Kyle's eyes went wide with shock, "He's your what?"

"I think I said boyfriend," I murmured, looking down sheepishly.

"You shouldn't trust him! He could be playing you!" he screamed at me.

"I'm right here, you know. And I'm not playing with his feelings," Levi muttered, taking a seat next to me.

"How can either of us be sure of that?" Kyle questioned, scowling at my boyfriend.

"Because I love him."

I hid myself behind Levi, staring at my speechless friend, "You two are in love?"

"Yes," I mumbled, clutching at my boyfriend's jumper.

Ky sighed, "What are your intentions with my friend?"

Levi pursed his lips, "Pure....well, mostly pure."

My face went warm and I smacked the brunette on the shoulder lightly.

"Alright...you two better be responsible," the sightly shorter brunette said. "I'll be on my way now...bye."

"Bye," I murmured, watching as Kyle left the room, closing the door behind him.

Levi pecked me on the cheek, "That could've gone better."

"I blame Elijah."

"Same."
