Dylan was getting ready to go home. He knew he had to sort things out with Sam but he hasn't seen her since the incident with Iain.
"Tess have you seen Sam?" Dylan asked
"No, sorry. We've all been looking for her since this afternoon" Tess frowned
"Ok, I'll find her" Dylan said
He picked up his phone and called Sam, straight to voicemail. "Sam, it's Dylan. Where are you, people are looking. Bye"
Dylan looked around everywhere in the ed. He even got Noel to check the pub and Mac to check the basement but there was no sign of her.
Dylan left her another voicemail, "look, Sam, I want to go home but I can't go without you so please, where are you?"
Dylan then looked around reception.
"Louise, how long has the first disabled loo been locked for?" Dylan asked
"All afternoon as far as I know" Louise said
"Thank you" Dylan said before pacing towards the loo
He put his ear against the door and heard sniffles from the other side, he then heard his own voice from the voicemail messages he sent. He knocked on the door.
"Sam?" Dylan said
"You don't want to see me" Sam replied
"Now why would you think that?" Dylan said
"I had an affair and now your cool with it?" Sam was startled
"Let me in" Dylan said calmly
The lock turned and Dylan went in and locked it again behind him. Sam was sat on the floor and it was clear she had been crying for a while.
"I'm sorry" she cried again
Dylan got down next to her and hugged her. Sam sobbed into his chest.
"Yes, I was upset but I've had time to think. Im glad you were honest. I believe you when you said it was at the start of your army career. I do." Dylan confessed
"I can see a but coming" Sam wiped away a tear that was about to fall on Dylan's shirt
"But I'm more upset that I was the reason you did this. I never wanted to separate but I didn't have any other option" Dylan explained
Sam weeped again, "I'm sorry"
"You don't have to keep saying that, I believe you. Now come on, we should go home" Dylan stood up and put his hand out
Sam took it and got up. She hugged Dylan and he hugged her back. They parted and Dylan took one look at Sam then wiped her cheek with a tissue.
He kissed her cheek and said, "that's better"
Sam deepened the kiss and they then kissed passionately against the wall of the disabled toilet.
"We should probably do this somewhere more hygienic" Dylan said
Sam cracked a smile but then proceeded to carry on kissing Dylan.
