Sam was admitted over-night and Dylan never left her side. He pushed the chair up to the bed. Dylan held Sam's hand as he sat down and put his legs up on the bed.
"How do you feel?" Dylan asked her
"Shattered. You?" Sam turned her head
"Same, you scared me. Nick had to help me, I was having a panic attack" Dylan confessed
"Dylan! I'm sorry." Sam said
"It's not your fault. Don't worry about me. You just get better, ok?"
"Yeah. I love you" Sam kissed Dylan's hand
"I love you too" Dylan rubbed her hand with his thumb
The pair went to sleep on the ward. In the morning, Sam woke up before Dylan. She watched him as his eyes fluttered open.
"Morning" She smiled
"Good morning"
Dylan took his legs off the bed as the curtain opened and Lofty walked in.
"Hello Sam, Dylan. Mr Levy said that you can go home now." Lofty smiled
"Thank you Lofty" Dylan said
"When can I go back to work?" Sam asked
"Urm, probably rest for 48 hours and then you should be fine. See you later" He said before leaving
Dylan and Sam got their things and left. Dylan drove back to the boat and helped Sam in. Their arms were linked as they boarded. Dylan sat Sam down on the sofa and got her a glass of water.
"Here you go" He said as he put it on the table
"Thank you" Sam said
Dylan sat next to her and put the blanket over the top of them. Sam curled up to Dylan and they watched tv.
