"If I could change time.
I would fix all the wrong,
I've ever done to myself.I would stop tearing
myself apart from one word.I would no longer let opinions,
sink into the cracks of my skin.I would no longer be
thin-skinned,
or wear my heart
on my shoulder,
where everyone
can just slowly chisel at me.I would no longer create a
barrier,
blocking out anyone,
or anything that cared for me.I would never walk away,
from the people I love. Not knowing how much,
my words can truly hurt them.Much more than my actions
ever did.I would not let my past decisions,
take control over my life. But most of all,
I would say
I love you to myself,
and stop
belittling the body that belongs
to me.Because I am a human being,
who is not made to be perfect. And that is one thing,
I would never change."
