"If I could change time.

I would fix all the wrong,
I've ever done to myself.

I would stop tearing
myself apart from one word.

I would no longer let opinions,
sink into the cracks of my skin.

I would no longer be
thin-skinned,
or wear my heart
on my shoulder,
where everyone
can just slowly chisel at me.

I would no longer create a
barrier,
blocking out anyone,
or anything that cared for me.

I would never walk away,
from the people I love.

Not knowing how much,
my words can truly hurt them.

Much more than my actions
ever did.

I would not let my past decisions,
take control over my life.

But most of all,
I would say
I love you to myself,
and stop
belittling the body that belongs
to me.

Because I am a human being,
who is not made to be perfect.

And that is one thing,
I would never change."
