"Everything started to crumble,
as everyone
was in shock of it.
As cherry red embers were given oxygen,
causing it to arise even more.
I looked up at the building that was now,
slowly being swallowed up by the flames.
I felt a numbing sensation on my right side,
but I did nothing
nor did I care.
I should escape this tragedy,
but I smiled as my prison
was now set aflame.
I turned away running from this
cold bitter reality I destroyed.
No more silence,
no more feeling of
being lost or trapped somewhere
I didn't want to be.
I can finally rise up out of my shell and be myself for once.
A single flame that is bound to cause an explosion."
