"I drowned out the noise with the sound of my breathing. Distant voices calling for me. Those hungry voices want me to go to the beyond.
But I want to find my home. Wherever that is.
I lay on the ash covered ground. Hoping for something to happen to me. I heard a phoenix rises anew.
Then why can't I?
Gray skies are above me today. Holding their tears as they're ashamed. Of me. Of who I became. A person in a empty shell. Hopefully I'll evolve one day. But for now, I can stay in this haunted forest.
I jumped in the glossy lake. Allowing the water to fill my senses. I'm swimming to the light. Only then it was so crystal clear. I'm finally free."
