"Jeon Jungkook, the boy who always tried to stay away from me when I wanted to talk to him," Detective Lee says, and leads Jungkook to sit on the chair. "Who is the killer?"
"I don't— I-I d-don't know—"
"Why are you shivering?" Detective Lee cuts him off. "Are you lying?"
Jungkook avoids the eye contact with the man who is now sitting in front of him on the chair.
"Are you scared?"
Still, no answer. He prefers to remain silent, because the boy knows something which is very important, so he is trying to keep his promise safe, although he knows it is not the best thing to do, at the moment.
"Listen, I'm here to help," Detective Lee comforts the boy who is still shivering. "Nobody can hurt you."
"You are wrong. Hecan."
"He?" Shockingly, Detective Lee questions. "Who is he? Do you know him?"
"I know who has killed Hoseok. Also, I know who has killed the rest of us," Jungkook answers, and suddenly his eyes are filled with water. "But, promises are supposed to be kept."
"Who has killed Hoseok, then?" Detective asks as he seems disappointed.
"Yoongi."
Without hesitation, detective Lee runs towards the door to leave the interrogation room, and of course, to arrest Min Yoongi.
When the detective leaves, Jungkook is left alone as he is wiping away his tears with the back of his hands. "But, you haven't heard the rest of the story, detective." He says to himself, and cries louder than before.
