"Whatcha working on Pidge?" Coran asked, looking over my shoulder at my notepad. I slammed it shut and tucked it in a satchel.

"Nothing." I said, sounding rather suspicious. He hummed in suspicion and walked off. I guess I shouldn't be writing in such a popular area of the castle.

Everyone would walk by me and question what I was doing, and after Coran asked I guess I just got fed up. I picked up my satchel and made my way to my room, a more private place to write.

"Oh, sorry." Shiro said as we walked into each other, both engrossed in our own thoughts.

"It's fine." I smiled, continuing on my way. I wasn't sure why but, it's only started recently, I walk by him and I get a small feeling of butterflies in my stomach.

That's what I've been writing about in my notebook. It's not like it happens with anyone else, it's confusing to be quite honest, none of my scientific knowledge suggests anything within normality. In fact it doesn't suggest anything.

I wish I knew what it was, maybe I'm ill. We have been to all sorts of planets with different climates and plants, maybe I caught some kind of bad bacteria? Something that my human body couldn't handle but other species could?

Wouldn't it be lovely? \\Shidge//Where stories live. Discover now
