Sorry, this is not an extra chapter, but I just wanted to ask something.

I started a draft for a historical fiction story based in ancient China. I'm not sure if anyone is interested in reading it though, since it a totally different genre from my usual writing. I just wanted to try something new. Anyways, please read the brief description of what I'm planning to write and please give me your honest opinion if it's something you would be interested in reading. Also, I'm debating if I should make it in first person POV or third person POV, so please give me some input on that as well.

After getting killed in the crossfire of an attempted assassination of their nation's king, a couple's young daughter Bai Lan is taken to the Imperial Palace and becomes the Crown Prince Zhang Jun's personal maid. Soon after, an orphaned son of a murdered general's family, Li Shen, arrives as well. Raised together, the three become inseparable. However, Bai Lan and Prince Jun start a budding romance, only to be halted by his sudden engagement. Dis-heartened, Bai Lan agrees to marry Li Shen to leave the palace, the only place she has ever known, for the first time. Will this love-triangle become not only tragic, but even dangerous?
