Chapter 4 + Chapter 5

Yuzu almost screamed but she saw it was Mei

"What is it?" Yuzu said harshly intended it too.

Yuzu shook Mei's hand away and took a few steps back.

"I heard you're failing your classes."

"Yeah, so what?" Yuzu frowned and wanted to get home.

"Do you want me to help you?" Mei asked like it was some group project.

Yuzu was losing her temper.

Why did she act like it was nothing?
"Leave me alone, Mei. Hang out with manager..."

Before Yuzu could stop herself , those words flowed out of her mouth like she was saying "Hello."

Before Mei could answer, Udagawa appeared.

"Oh, hello Yuzu!"

Yuzu waved and gave off a fake-smile.

She sighed and walked off in the classroom.

After school

"Harumin, you wanna come over my house today?"

"Sure, Yuzuchi."

As they got on the elevator, Harumin said

"Yuzu, did anything happen today? I noticed you weren't focusing."

"No, nothing in particular..."

Yuzu sighed and punched the floor number.

"Ahh, that was delicious, Yuzu!
I didn't know you were a great cook."

Yuzu blushed and was washing the dish.

knock knock.

"Huh? I'm not expecting anybody today." Yuzu said, taking off her apron.

Yuzu walked to the front door and opened it.

"Hello, Yuzu." said a voice.

End of chapter 4...

There was a tall figure standing outside Yuzu's front door.

"Who is it?" Yuzu asked.

"Your grandfather, Yuzu. Is Mei here?"

"No, she's not." Yuzu said, opening the door for her grandfather.

"Great, I need to talk to you about something."

"Alright, what is it?" Yuzu was puzzled, her grandfather never came to the apartment before.

He took a look around and saw Harumin. He gave a small wave and asked her to leave for a few minutes.

"Is it that important, grandfather?" She asked.

He nodded.

Yuzu gave off a small gesture for him to sit down.

"Here, I'll make some tea for you."

Few minutes later...

"Thank you, Yuzu." He took the tea and drank a little bit of it.

She sat down at the sofa/couch and put her hands on her knees.

"What did you want to talk about, grandfather?"

"As you are very well informed, you are part of the Aihara family.
We have... A tradition passed down to young people like you.
Someone from the Aihara family must get married to someone to inherit our family."

Yuzu was confused and nodded at grandfather
"Yes.. But did Mei do that because of the families tradition?"

He shook his head "No, she chose that for herself. Since you are the oldest but a young child, I have already made preparations for your marriage."

Yuzu almost laughed out loud.

"My preparations... For my marriage?
What in the world are you talking about?"

He looked like he was about to lose his patience

"In a few years, I will die of age and someone has to take my place.
While someone does that, I must need someone to inherit the
family... We have a nice school and a company. I'm trying to make another thing big."

"Wait, wait, wait. So all this trouble is to make a new company?!"

He nodded and said "The company will be huge. We can't sell the school or company due to our traditions."

Yuzu was shocked...

"But Mei, she..."

"That was her own will and desire. I didn't force her... But I might have to force you to agree to the marriage."
