"I'm warning you Hermione. Keep that bloody beast away from Scabbers, or I'll turn it into a tea cozy" Ron Weasley yelled "do shut up, Ron. You and I both know you wouldn't be able to do that if your life depended on it" Aurora Harring snarked "besides Ronald it's a cat. What do you expect?" Hermione Granger added "It's in his nature.
"A cat? Is that what they told you?" Ron replied, holding Scabbers close to his chest, Hermione performing the same action with Crookshanks, her cat. "looks like a pig with hair if you ask me" Ron added "It's a good thing no one asked then, isn't it?" Aurora smirked.
Aurora looked up and saw Harry, one of her best friends, standing at the bottom of the staircase inside the leaky cauldron "Harry!" she smiled, this caused Ron and Hermione to stop arguing and turn around. Each of them giving Harry a smile.

Ron was showing Hermione, Aurora and Harry an image of him and his family in Egypt. "Egypt! What's it like?" Harry asked eagerly. Aurora watched as the Weasley family waved into the camera "brilliant" Ron replied "loads of old stuff like mummies, tombs even Scabbers enjoyed himself"
"you know the Egyptians used to worship cats" Hermione said "along with the dung beetle" Ron replied.
"not flashing about that clipping again are you, Ron?" one of the Weasley twins asked "I haven't shown anyone" Ron replied "no, not a soul. That's unless you count Tom, the day maid, the night maid, cook, the bloke who fixed the toilet" The twins said.
"Harry!" another voice called "Mrs Weasley!" Harry called "Good to see you dear" Mrs Weasley said as she pulled Harry in for a hug "good to see you too" Harry replied "now, have you get everything you need?" Mrs Weasley asked "Yes" Harry nodded "yes, all your books?" She asked "it's all upstairs" he nodded "all of your clothes?" she asked "everything" Harry nodded once again
"Good boy" Molly praised "thank you" Harry smiled. Aurora didn't listen to the conversation from then on because Fred and George had began talking to her about all the pranks they were going to pull this year.

Ron pulled back from the window where his mum was passing him Scabbers. Harry was telling his friends about how he blew his aunt up. Aurora was letting fits of laughter "I didn't mean to blow her up. I just - Aura stop - I lost control". Aurora toned down her laughter as much as she could so only a grin was visible on her face.
"Brilliant" Aurora and Ron said in unison "honestly guys, it's not funny. Harry was lucky not to be expelled" Hermione scolded "I think he was lucky not to be arrested actually" Aurora said, pointing a finger at Hermione, to which she rolled her eyes "I still think it was brilliant" Ron laughed.
Hermione pulled open one of the compartment doors, inside, was somebody sleeping "come on, everywhere else is full" Aurora, Ron and Harry all pilled in after Hermione "who do you think that is?" Ron asked, nodding towards the teacher opposite him. "Professor R. J. Lupin" Aurora replied the same time as Hermione "do you two know everything?" Ron asked incredulously.
"How is it they know everything?" Ron asked Harry rhetorically "It's on his suitcase, Ron" Aurora said, directing a finger to the name tag on the suitcase. "oh" Ron sighed "do you think he's really asleep?" Harry asked "seems to be. why?" Hermione asked "I gotta tell you something" Harry said as he closed the compartment door.

"Let me get this straight. Sirius Black escaped from Azkaban... to come after you?" Ron asked "yeah" Harry replied "but they'll catch Black, wont they?" Hermione asked, clearly worried "I mean, everyone's looking for him"
"sure" Aurora said "except no one's ever broken out of Azkaban before and he's a murderous raving lunatic" she leaned back into the chair and folded her arms over her chest "thanks, Aurora" Harry replied.
The train came to a stop "why are we stopping?" Hermione asked no one in particular "we can't be there yet". Aurora opened the compartment door and looked down the carriage, turns out many people had the same idea. The train gave a harsh jolt and this cause Aurora to fall back into the compartment, the door sliding shut "whats going on?" Ron yelled
"I don't know. Maybe we've broken down?" Harry suggested. The lights then went out and Ron attempted to look out of the window "ouch, Ron, that was my foot" Hermione yelped the lights came back as when Ron spoke "there's something moving out there"
"I think someones coming aboard" Ron's voice cracked. The lights were now completely out along the train and the rain and darkness outside didn't help one bit. The train gave another harsh jolt. Aurora felt the temperature drop and could see steam coming from her mouth as she breathed.
Ron, who still had his hand against the window pane, watched as the windows began to freeze over, a terrified expression on his face. The water in Professor Lupins water bottle also froze completely. "what the hell?" Aurora muttered as she clasped her cold hands together.
The train let out a screech and jolted once again "Bloody hell!" Ron exclaimed "whats happening?". The four looked at the door. Aurora instantly wished she didn't. outside of their compartment was a dark, hooded figure. If you could even call it that. A long, bony hand slid opened the compartment door without a single touch,
Its fingers looked like something from a Tim Burton movie. This figure, of a sort, had no face. Just and empty blackness. The four instantly cowered away from it; the thing was completely terrifying. The thing turned its head towards Harry and Aurora.
It felt like the happiness had been drained from them and like they would only ever be sad for the rest of their lives. Aurora heard a woman screaming, pleading for somebody to let her go. It was horrible and Aurora had no idea what it meant.
"Harry, Aura?" Hermione called "are you alright?"
A/N Hey lovelies ! I've decided to repost this book as it really believe it could go somewhere. Rora isn't hearing the same screaming that harry is, that will be explained later in the book so don't forget about it ! I hope you guys enjoy the book !
