Aurora, Harry, Ron and Hermione went down to the black lake to see Hagrid. He was skipping stones along the water.
"How'd it go, Hagrid? The hearing?" Hermione asked. Hagrid stopped for a second and suddenly his stone became very interesting "well" Hagrid began "first off, the committee members took turns talking about why we were there" Hagrid paused and threw the stone he was holding.
"Then I got up and did my piece. Said how Buckbeak was a good hippogriff, always cleaned his feathers. And then Lucius Malfoy got up. Well, you can imagine. He said Buckbeak was a deadly and dangerous creature who would kill you as soon as it looked at you" Hagrid threw another stone.
Aurora felt horrible but hearing Malfoy's name made her even angrier, "and then?" Hermione asked as the other three didn't speak.
"And then he asked for the worst, did ol' Lucius" Hagrid said, still not turning towards the quartet.
"They're not sacking you!" Aurora exclaimed "no, I'm not sacked" Hagrid told her as he threw another stone.
"Buckbeak's been sentaced to death!" Hagrid wailed and then dumped the stone he was holding onto the water. Harry stood up from the large rock he was sitting on. Aurora couldn't believe what she was hearing. She wouldn't.
It was absolute Bollocks in her eyes. Buckbeak didn't deserve this fate because Malfoy decided to go against strict orders. Aurora could feel her hands shaking. Unbeknownst to her and her friends, they had a faint orangeglow surrounding them.

"Aura!" Harry whispered "Aura".
"What" Aurora groaned as she opened her eyes. she had fell asleep on the Gryffindor sofa after finishing some homework she didn't get done over the holidays.
"Come with me, I'll explain on the way" Harry told her in a fast whisper. Aurora slid on her shoes and walked after Harry.
The two were walking down a corridor, both of their wands lit at the tip. Harry had the maraudersmap in his hands. Harry explained to Aurora about what he had seen and she looked at him as though he was crazy. He was quick to show her pettigrew's name on the map.
"Put that light out!" One of the paintings scolded, Harry quickly apologised. Harry and Aurora continued down the hall, Harry glancing at the map every now and again. Harry nudged Aurora's shoulder when he noticed that Pettigrew's footsteps were on the move again.
The map showed that he should be coming towards the two but when they looked up, the hall was empty "that's weird" Aurora mumbled and Harry nodded in agreement. Pettigrew's footsteps seemed to be coming closer and closer to Harry and Rory and yet nobody was there when they looked up.
The two kept turning in circles. Pettigrew seemingly ran straightpast them, yet he was nowhere to be seen. The paintings continued to scold the two students but they ignored them.
Harry glanced back down at the map; it showed 'SeverusSnape' coming towards them. "Mischief managed" harry said and then the two mumbled "nox" in unison.
Snape appeared behind them with his wand lit brightly "Harring. Potter" he said in his usual emotionless voice.
"What are you two doing wandering the corridors at night?" Snape questioned. Harry seemed to have blurred out the first thing that came to mind "we were sleepwalking".
In that moment Aurora wanted to put duct tape over Harry's mouth to stop him from speaking everagain.
"Together?" Snape questioned. Aurora pursed her lips and nodded.
"How extraordinarily like your fathers you to are" Snape said "they too were exceedingly arrogant strutting about the castle".
Aurora didn't think anything of Snape's words because her father was a raginglunatic. Harry on the other hand had a normal father and decided it was right to stickup for him "my dad didn't strut. Nor do we" Harry said sternly.
In the afterlife, James Potter stood against the wall watching the scene next to his wife, Lily. He had his armed folded across his chest and he was still wearing the same clothes from the night he died. He and Lily both chuckled at Harry's words knowing full well that James and Sirius used to strut around the castle as though they owned the place whilst Remus and Peter trailed behind them.
Aurora spoke up after deciding she had been quiet for too long "if you don't mind, I would appreciate it if you could lower your wand". Snape lowered his wand a bit and then said "turn out your pockets. Both of you".
Aurora knew the only thing she carried was a wand but harry, on the other hand, had the map.
Harry pulled out the map which appeared to be just a plain piece of parchment "what's this?" Snape questioned "spare but of parchment" Harry replied.
"Really? Open it" Snape commanded. Harry complied and Snape placed his wand onto the parchment "reveal your secrets" he said in his monotonous tone.
Words began to appear on the map "you, girl. Read it" Snape said directing his wand at Aurora. Aurora took the parchment from Harry's hands and began reading. "Messers moony, wormtail, padfoot, prongs and fluffy offer their compliments to Professor Snape and"- Aurora stopped herself but Snape told her to go on.
James and Lily ushered for their friends to join them. Marlene walked up to them, swaying her hips as she had done since she was fourteen and soon after, Mary joined them. "wait for it..." James grinned.
"And request that he keeps his abnormallylargenose out of other people's business" Aurora finished and Snape pointed his wand at her "You insolent little"-
"Professor!" Lupin spoke slowly as he appeared from behind Snape "well, well. Lupin" Snape greeted "out for a little walk in the moonlight, are we?" Snape questioned.
James', along with everyone else's, laughter died down and Snape's comment. Lily felt herself become enraged at her old friend "bastard" she mumbled. James put his arm around her and brought her to his side just like Marlene did with Mary.
Aurora knew enough about lupin to know he was a werewolf and Snape's words angered her. Her hands began to glow the same faint orange from earlier but no one seemed to notice, none but lupin.
The ghosts in the corridor looked towards the young girls hands, each noticing the glow, Lily began "is she"-
"Aurora, Harry, are you alright?" Lupin asked as he slowly walked towards the two. Lupin watched carefully as Aurora's glowing hands began to go back to normal.
"That remains to be seen" Snape snatched the map from Aurora's grip "I have now just confiscated a rather curious artefact for miss Harring and mr Potter. Take a look, Lupin. It's supposed to be your area of expertise. Clearly it's full of dark magic" Snape said as he handed Lupin the map.
Lupin opened the map "I seriously doubt it Severus" Lupin said "it looks as though it's a parchment designed to insult anyone who tries to read it. I suspect it's a Zonko product. Nevertheless, I shall investigate any hidden qualities it may possess. It is, after all, as you say, my area of expertise. Aurora, harry, would you come with me, please" The two students nodded and Lupin bid Snape a polite goodnight.
Aurora Harry and Lupin headed down the corridor, away from Snape.
