Chapter 6

Katy's POV

I open my eyes as I still lay on Rob's chest in his living room.

I look up at him as he keeps sleeping.

I rest my head back on his chest as I want to be in his arms as long as possible.

I feel his fingers run up and down my back as I smile into his neck.

"Good morning." He says quietly as I hug him tightly.

"Can we stay a little longer like that?" I ask softly as I hide my face in the crook of his neck.

"We can stay like that as long as you want." He says as I look up at him.

I sit up a little as I keep looking into his eyes.

I slowly lean down to him, feeling his breath on my lips.

Our lips softly touch as I kiss him.

I get scared that he wouldn't kiss me back and already moved on.

It all goes away when I feel him returning the kiss.

I smile into the kiss as he deepens it a little.

I place my hands on his chest, feeling his abs as I want to have him close forever.

He pulls away and strokes my cheek as I give him a genuine smile.

The best smile I had in years.

Only for him.

"No one will ever hurt you again." He says as he sits up with me on his lap.

"I love you." I say as I hold his hand. "I've never stopped Rob."

Looking back at me, he brings my hand to his lips and kisses the top of it.

"I was waiting for you." He says as I pull him closer and hug him tightly.

I can't take the smile off of my face as I sit in his arms.

He kisses my shoulder as my phone rings.

I grab it and answer the call from Chris.

Hearing his scream again, I cuddle more to Rob as he looks down at me.

"It's the end." I say to my phone and hang up.
