Chapter 45

Katy's POV

"You're growing so fast missy." I murmur and tickle her belly.

I smile down at her as she's already six months old.

She's the happiest baby I've ever seen.

We all love seeing her smile and hearing her giggles.

She brightens our world everyday by just a simple look.

She wiggles as she lays on the couch next to me.

She rolls onto her belly as she sees Rob.

She makes happy noises and tries to pick herself up on her hands.

"Hello princess." Rob says happily and makes his way to her.

He picks her up and spins her in the air.

She laughs loudly as she puts her little hands on his cheeks.

I shake my head smiling as I watch them.

He sits on the couch and lays her on his lap.

"Show me these stinky feet." He says holding her legs.

She squeals as he brings her feet to his face and kisses them.

Olly runs to us and sits on my lap as he watches her.

She looks at him excitedly and kicks lightly.

"Our princess gets chunky from mummy's milky." Rob says and kisses her feet again.

She giggles more as I nod.

"Da!" She screams as he sits her up.

"Is that your first word?" I ask as she bounces smiling.

"You should try to say Olly princess." I say as I play with his hair.

"O, Ol!" Ophelia tries to say as she giggles.

"And what about mummy?" Rob asks tickling her belly.

"Ma!" She laughs as Olly wraps his arms around her.

"And Fee." He says as she grabs his nose.

He laughs with her and I peck Rob's lips.

When I was leaving pregnant with Olly, I didn't think I would see him ever again.

Let along being together again.

But coming back was the best decision I've ever made.

Olly finally stopped asking about his real father and is truly happy.

I just wish he had a dad from the beginning like Ophelia does.

But that was my fault and selfishness.
