"I'm heading off to bed," Sarah hummed, picking up her things from the floor where they'd been having their movie marathon. "If anyone needs anything, don't hesitate to wake me up."

"Thanks Momma Harper," Zach yawned, running his hands through his hair tiredly.

Lottie smiled and pulled her purple blanket more tightly around her shoulders as her mom walked away.

Alex pressed play on the 'F.R.I.E.N.D.S.' episode they'd been watching and they all made themselves comfortable again.

"You cold?" Justin murmured, glancing down at her.

"A little," Lottie shrugged, tucking hair behind her ear.

Justin nodded and pulled her into his side, an arm hanging aground her shoulders.

As Ross and Rachel had their first kiss of the series, Lottie couldn't help but stare up at Justin.

She felt her heart thunder in her chest, the blood coursing through her veins, and the way his lips parted into a small smile, his eyes fixed on the screen.

Lottie inhaled sharply as the realization hit her.

"Justin," she mumbled, gently elbowing him in the side.

"Hmm?" He immediately looked down at her, concern filling his eyes. "Is everything okay?"

"I'm fine," she mumbled. "Come with me for a second."

Lottie stumbled to her feet, crept around the rest of the group — everyone was half asleep anyway — and slid on a pair of someone's shoes before she walked out the back door. She could sense Justin close behind her and chewed on her bottom lip nervously.

When the door closed behind them, she wrapped the blanket even more tightly around her.

"So what's going on?" Justin frowned, rubbing his hands together and folding his arms over his chest.

"I'm saying the word," Lottie blurted, looking anywhere but him.

"What?"

Lottie let out a shaky breath. "On Instagram yesterday," she began nervously. "You told me to say the word whenever I'm ready, and — well — I'm saying the word."

She hesitantly peaked up at him through her lashes, watching as her words slowly sunk in.

A smile slowly stretched across his face, and Lottie couldn't help but smile as well. Justin threw his arms around her, letting out breathy laughter into her shoulder. She set her chin down on his shoulder and smiled, her arms hooking around his middle.

"You're not messing with me, right?" He breathed, not moving in the slightest.

Lottie shook her head gently. "No," she murmured. "I'm — I'm ready for this."
