Duffs pov:

We get out of starbucks and walk up to the street.

"I think it would be better if we just rest and play some more tonight. There are more tourists then." Steven says.

"Yeah." I say.

It's funny how Steven acts like he has a clue but he has no idea what he is doing.

We don't even have a place to sleep. But we do have some money left.

Steven and I walk down the street.

"We should get a job." I say.

"Yeah." Steven says.

We look at the stores.

"Lets both look for jobs." Steven says.

We walk down the street. And down another street. And another.

We get back to our car.

"Maybe we should rest if we are staying up almost the entire night." I say.

"Yeah." Steven says.

We get in the back seat.

"You can sleep. I'll stay awake so no one steals our car." Steven says.

"That's smart." Duff says.

"I am smart." Steven says with a grin.

I lean in and kiss him. He kisses me back.

"Time to sleep now." Steven says.

I close my eyes.

I wake up some time later. I see Steven on his phone.

"What time is it?" I ask.

"Uhh 2 pm." Steven says.

"Are you hungry?" he asks and puts his phone away.

"Not really." I say.

I am. I just don't want us to run out of food.

"You can sleep now and I will stay awake." I say.

"Okay." Steven says.

He leans into me. His lips touch mine.
I put my hand on his shoulder.

Our tongues meet.
I feel his hand on my cheeck.

Our lips part.

"I'm gonna sleep now." He says.

He's scared. He's scared because we don't know what is gonna happen. We don't know if we have food tonight. We don't know if we make money tonight.

Nothing is sure. Why did we do this? Why did we think we could do this?

And we're both too stuborn to admit we can't do this.

I take my phone and watch some youtube.

Two hours later Stevens phone rings.

"Hello?" He says still half asleep.

"Oh hey Slash." he says.

"Uhm we.." he says.

"Put it on speaker." I say.

He does.

"Hi slash." I say.

"Oh hi Duff." Slash says.
