Hey guys! I'm sooo sorry for not posting for a long time.
I swear I will start uodating some more ;)

Stevens pov:

Duff knocks on the door.
We hear footsteps and Shadow barking.

"Shadow, quiet." I hear Duffs mom say.

She opens the door.

I see Duff just smiling a bit awkward as his mom puts her hand infront of her mouth.

Marie hugs Duff.

"I was so worried." She says.

Shadow walks torwards me.

"Hey boy." I say and pet him.

"Steven. Come here." Marie says.
She hugs me too.

"Come inside." She says to both of us.

We walk to the kitchen and sit down at the dinnertable.

"Why did you two run away?" She says.

She sounds really calm but you see the anger in her movements.

"We wanted to see more of the world. More than this stupid town." Duff says.

"And did you guys saw more of the world." She asks.

'we saw Mexico.' I think.

Duff just shakes his head.

"Was it worth it?" She says.

"No. We were stupid. We got robbed. They took our phones." Duff says.

"Oh my god, are you okay?" She asks and looks at both of us this time.

"Yes. We took the SIM card out before they took them." Duff says.

"They didn't made you do other stuff, did they?" she asks.

"No." Duff says.

"We're not hurt. Maybe thirsty and tired. And hungry." Duff says.

"I'll make you guys something to eat." She says.

"I'm going to the bathroom." Duff says.

Duff gets up and leaves the room.

"Are you okay? You haven't said much." Marie says to me.

"Yes. Just tired." I say.

"Okay. I'll call your mom after I made some food." She says.

"I guess she will be reliefd." I say.

"Yes. Which isn't weird. How would you feel if your son just runs away and you don't know where he went." Marie says.

"Yeah. We were stupid." I say.

"You're teenagers. You two need to find yourself. But next time, stay a bit closer to home." She says.

I nod. Duff walks back in the room.

I look around the room. We weren't gone for that long but it feels so good to be back here.

Marie makes us some food and calls my mom. My moms wasn't mad luckily.

After we ate and told Marie about the nice things we saw, Duff and I go upstairs.

We walk to the guest room and put our stuff down.

"I'm so fucking tired." Duff says.

"Me too." I say.
I sit down on the bed.

"Lets just sleep." Duff says.
I nod.
