A/N: by far the longest chapter XD ..have fun! :3

   I feel stiffened, everything hurts..I try to open my eyes and this time it works, but it's dark everywhere.. Did I become blind?!.

I tried to sit up but met with pain shooting from my side up to my head..I looked around and saw the green line of my heart beat.. So I'm not blind..thank god.

"Easy there Miss Cole..you can't get up!" A nurse turned the lights on and approached me..

"Anything I can get you before I call the doctor?" I looked up at her blinking a couple of times trying to get used to the lighting of the room.."w-water please" I said clearing my throat, the  young looking nurse left the room..I touched my side from over the hospital robe and felt the bandages , my head though was aching, I looked around me and saw flowers..everywhere, by my bed, at the door, near the window..all kinds of flowers, I held my heart in a flow of emotions then looked up when I heard someone nearing the bed

''hey.." Mason stood near my feet holding a cup of water in his right hand, his left arm was in a blue cast holding his shoulder..casually dressed..he looked like the Mason I felt for 5 years ago, his face was all bruised up..red,blue and purple

  "Amelia?" He called me when I didn't respond, I got caught in his delicate features..I looked him in the eyes and felt the tears prickle mine.
"Hey.." He handed me the cup of water and i gulped it down, I've never bin this thirsty in my entire life.."how are you feeling?" Mason asked me still standing in front of me..he didn't sit or touch me..this made me quite uncomfortable to be honest

  ''i-im good..considering. What about y-you?'' Why does it feel so awkward talking to him right now?!.

"I'm okay..Amelia..listen, I'm..I'm so sorry, this whole thing happened because of me, and I made you get hurt..I just wish you'll be able to forgive me, please.." He spoke just above a whisper..eyes red and puffy, I can't tell if it's due to the beating he took or the fact that he was now..crying..

  Mason suddenly dropped to both knees, head hung low muttering apologies one after the other.."y-you idiot.. " I said with a cracky voice reaching for his face, as I finally held his cheek he sank in my touch taking a deep breath..''I'm the one who's supposed to be apologizing, I left the apartment when you asked me not to..but actually it's Christian's fault that we're both hurt..not yours, please.. " Mason looked up at me, tears still falling one after the other pooling down his chin

  ''I'll do anything Amelia.. Anything you want, just don't leave me.." He broke into a new series of crying..I've never seen him like this before and it devastated me

  "you can start by hugging me.." I looked him right in the eyes and he launched himself at me making me wince but I didn't care, I surrounded one arm around him..the other one had the IV needle attached, He rested his face on my chest and i brushed his hair gently

  "who gave you the idea that I'd leave you?!" He kept silent and tightened his one good arm around me.."Mason...hey.." I pulled his head back when he refused to talk to me.."look at me.." He slowly lifted his head sniffing.."I love you..okay?..I love you so much, I never want to leave your side ever again..not after I finally got you back".

    "I had you for one day Amelia...one day..and look where you are now" he said in a painful tone.."you deserve better, you'll only get hurt as long as you're with me" he swallowed hard, eyes closing shut.
