  "Mason!" I whined as he rapped his arms around me from behind and started to kiss my neck, the stubble on his cheeks tickled my skin and I scrunched up my shoulders in order to shoo him away.."I'm trying to cook, go play with Haley"

  "Yes dear" he smiled pecking my cheek quickly before stalking off to find her

Haley is Michael's younger daughter, we had invited our friends and families for dinner because they accused us of the fact that we forgot about them since we got married last year
  They should know better that we can never ever forget them..just..so many things had changed and we kind of lost track of time I guess

 
"Knock knock.." A voice called from behind me and I turned excitedly to see my brother Jonah and his girlfriend Lisa

"Oh my god! You made it!" I grinned happily abandoning the food as I engulfed in their hug

"I had to call off a meeting but I guess it's worth it" Lisa smiled happily at me

"How have you bin? I haven't seen you in a while" I smiled wholeheartedly at both of them as I stirred them towards the living room.. "Same as always I guess" my brother shrugged casually

  "I see" i replied studying for any clues that would give them away, finding none I entered the living room where the others sat chatting, my parents, Michael and his wife Teresa

Sadly Hana, Ellie, Jeremy and Luke couldn't make it due to exams but they actually became good friends after I left

I walked back into the kitchen leaving the rest chatting around about everything as I focused on mashing up a pot of potatoes, Mason walked back in with a little blond in his arms..I smiled as he tried to tickle her while she was squearming in his embrace

"What's with her?" I asked grinning as she tried to push away from him.."she doesn't like my beard" he cooed making me let out a laugh.."she wouldn't let me kiss her" he added

I went in front of her as she glared at me with her piercing green eyes..''can I have a kiss?" I questioned and she nodded smiling as she pecked my cheek so sweetly

"What about me?!" Mason tried again whining.. "No.." She pushed at his chest again making him drop her to the floor as she ran to her mother

"But who will kiss me?!" He whined once more with his bottom lip dangling in a pout

  shaking my head, i stepped forward and placed a kiss on his stubbly cheek. Before I could pull away completely he turned his head and placed his lips fully on mine..sadly he kept it short but little Haley was already popping her head from the corner curling her nose up at the display of affection

I resumed my shores getting everything ready as I dusted my hands and finally walked out from the kitchen to actually sit with my family

Clear and her youngest Carla had finally arrived just in time for dinner considering they were in a cruise for the past week, I'm happy they made it..they're Mason's family, her and the girls are all he has left from his family

 
 

   We laughed and cried over the memories as we all helped clean the mess after the dinner, and may I say I got praised for my effort and the fact that it actually tasted nice

"Daddy do you have an Xbox?" Clara asked Mason batting her eyelashes for affect but then sighed and left as soon as he shook his head which made her leave to play with Haley..''speaking of daddies..when are you guys planning on having children of your own?" Clear asked me when no one was paying attention

I just shrugged eyeing Mason while he chatted with my dad and Michael, I'm happy that the awkwardness has disappeared a while ago and they can still have a normal conversation with each other

  I wanted to have a girls talk with Hana or Kathy or even the twins but apparently they have important stuff to do and none of them could make it..yes they have school..unlike you

The inner me rolled her eyes and it was matched by one of my own as I popped a grape in my mouth savoring its sweet taste

It was the end of the night and I couldn't help but cry when everyone was about to leave

  "Thank you so much for coming.." I hugged every one of them with tears in my eyes..taking my time in hugging Clear and whispering in her ear she tightened her hold on me with little tears in her eyes and she quickly let go to wipe them away when Mason neared us

  ''Hey come on..I'll bring her to visit I promise" he notified his sister as he said his goodbyes to everyone else..with one last wave they disappeared behind the door and left us to ourselves

  "Thank you baby, the dinner was amazing" Mason praised once more kissing my hand as we laid on the bed, he seemed pretty content in just playing with my fingers and twisting the golden ring around my ring finger proudly

"Mason?" I asked and he hummed in response making his voice spread through my entire body

  ''I have a present for you.." I informed him and he quickly narrowed his eyes in confusion.."what for? I have everything I could possibly need with you right by my side" he brushed his lips on my cheek before I got up to grab a small box I had hid under the bed

  Placing it on his chest as I sat next to him I asked him to open it.."what is it?" He glanced up at me in confusion and excitement all at once, grabbing the box and giving it a little shake I rolled my eyes at him and obliged him to open it already

  He sighed smiling and removing the little blue ribbon so he can open it properly, he held the little white plastic bar in his hand staring at it with a frown.."what's this?" He questioned

  "Flip it.." I notified him and he obliged staring at those two dark bars expressionless for a moment

  "Oh my god!! Is this..?! A-are you..? does this m-mean..?!" His eyes widened as he tried to make a decent sentence

I nodded in tears

"You're going to be a father.."
