"Waddup bro, whatchu need?" I asked standing with my back against the wall under the back stairwell
"A 8th" polo answered and I nodded my head towards the hallway telling him to look out for me
I reached in my bookbag Pulling out my scale and my bud. I kept adding nuggets to the scat until it showed me 3.5 grams.
When I was done I wrapped it in a plastic bag and sprayed some bullshit cologne I bought because my gas leave a smell.
"$30" I told him
He handed me a ten and a twenty and I gave him his weed. He nodded his head and I did the same as he went on bout his business.
Pretty soon the bell rang and a few students came walking past me. Most of the niggas nodded saying waddup, and most of the females just snickered or laughed. I pay these bitches no mind. I've got better things to worry about.
I stood in my same position, unfazed by the attention around me and waited for my brother so we can get the fuck out this bitch. Pretty soon I saw Mekhi coming down the stairs with a crowd of people around him.
Menace was always the popular one. I just rather keep to myself. I like my circle small, that way the blunt come back to me faster.
"Poppin" he dapped me up as we started walking toward the entrance
"Wassup" I spoke in general since everybody he was with was basically staring at me
Me and menace started to have our own conversation as we walked home with the rest of the Nigga that stay in or by the hood.
"So how much you make?" He asked me
I sighed knowing that today was a slow day. Menace better at selling dope around school because he has more clout, I'm better at selling around the hood because I got more street cred from the old heads.
"Like $80" I said disappointed
"Nigga that's it? You know we gotta eat and mama don't get paid this week" he said telling me what I already know
"I know bitch" I sighed running my hands through my hair
"What we gone do bruh?" He asked just as stressed as I was
"We gone have to find somebody to watch the girls until mama come home Tonight & we gone hit the block bruh" I told him
He groaned in frustration making me roll my eyes at him. Nigga always bitching. I don't see why he hates the block so much, that's where all the money at.
"Ight come on. Lets just go get mina and Mira so we can take them with us to get groceries" he suggested
I nodded and we turned down Glenwood rd walking towards Glenwood elementary where our little sisters amina, and miracle go to school.
When we got there they were standing outside with all the other kids waiting for us.
"Bubby!" Mina ran up to Mekhi causing him to pick her up and spin her around while she giggled
Miracle just stood there quietly as always.
"Wassup Mira" I said crouching down to her level
"Hey Tae" she smiled lightly pushing her glasses closer to her face
"How was school?" I asked taking her bookbag and carrying it for her
"I won the class spelling bee today. And ms.Lockhart gave me candy" she told me excitedly
