Millies POV
“I think I might like you.” Finn says, awkwardly laughing.
“Ya think?” I reply, laughing too. “Yeah I think I like you too.”
We both smile.
“I didn't really mean for it to happen it just-” Finn starts.
“did.” I finish his sentence. he nods. “I don't know how though. one night I just started feeling differently but I kept denying it because I worried that if it was one way feelings than that would ruin our friendship and-”
I'm interrupted by his soft lips pushing up against mine once again. I don't hesitate to kiss him back.
“Sorry. I can't stop blabbering.” I laugh after we pull away.
“You're cute when you blabber.” he smiles, causing my cheeks to heat up.
Yeah...we’re definitely not just friends anymore.
“Wait...do Sadie and Lizzy know you like me?” Finn asks.
“Well...kinda…” I awkwardly say. “Do Gaten, Noah, and Caleb know?”
“Yep.” Finn murmurs.
“That’s why they made that weird face at each other the other night!” I say.
“What face?” Finn questions.
“Right after we almost kissed and they came in...they all asked if we were ok because we were all red and stuff and we told them it was hot.” I explain.
“Oh yeah that. They did kinda look at eachother weird.” Finn agrees.
“Ok, but we shouldn’t tell them about anything that just happened. At least not yet. I want to see how hard they will try to get us together.” I giggle.
“Smart.” Finn agrees.
Suddenly a text comes through on both of our phones.
Saids: hey are you guys together
Mills: huh?
Saids: like are you with eachother atm
Finn: yes?
Saids: cool. Can yall meet me at the park in like 10
Mills: sure
Saids: cool
“Why does she want us at the park?” Finn asks.
“I have no idea.”
We leave to go to the park. Once we get there, we cant find her anywhere.
“Sadie?” I shout. No response.
“Sadie!” Finn yells.
“Hi.” Says a teenage boy.
“What? Sorry...we were just looking for our friend Sadie.” I explain.
“Yeah...I know.” He says, holding up Sadie’s phone.
“What the hell?” Finn says. “Why do you have her phone?”
“I don’t think we’ve been formally introduced. I’m Jacob.” The teenager says.
“Finn. Now answer the question.” Finn insists.
“Well...if you must know...I needed to get you both here, because you both kinda owe me something.” Jacob says.
