I tried to contain the moan which threatened to escape my hungry lips, my eyes closed slowly accepting his presence the general warmth and all the other sexual desires he stirred up in my aching body. He lingered by my ear his breath caressing the tender flesh of my neck, I tilted my head slightly inviting him just to nuzzle at sensitive skin but I felt the weight in the bed shift. My eyes snapped open to see his deep blue orbs and smooth skin glistening in the white moonlight,

"I guess I'll see you at home" he smiled, I couldn't even respond I swallowed my urges and nodded. Nicholas left my bed walking through the door closing it behind him. I didn't know what sick game he was playing but I didn't like it.

He left with my suitcase and the painting. I groaned grabbing a few stuff before leaving the apartment, how did he even persuade me to come back? Nicholas really was something, he had me right in the palm of his hand and instead of making both of us happy; he just left. I started to hear my thoughts and I realized maybe he wanted to take things slow or... or... I didn't know. He was truly a mystery to me I knew so little about him. The drive back to his home was a pleasant one, just smooth sailing. I pulled into the driveway of my 'house' still dumbfounded as to how he got me to come back. A day didn't even pass and I was back.

I sucked my teeth and shook my head disappointed in myself as I walked towards the back where I lived when I saw him,

"Hey"

"Goodnight" I replied a bit harsher than I expected walking past him,

"Where are you going?"

"To bed Nicholas, where else would I be going?" I kept walking towards the house. I went into my room my suitcase was nowhere in sight. I rushed back outside he was leaned against the house in the same place I left him,

"Where's my stuff?" I threw off my hands in frustration, I wasn't in the mood for any more of his sly games,

"Inside" he replied with a slight shrug, I just stared at him confusion etched on my face, "Your things are upstairs in the south wing"

"Why?" I folded my arms across my chest,

"Damn that mouth of yours" he turned to head inside, I guess I didn't have a choice. Like a lamb to the slaughter, I followed my undoing inside.

We walked in silence as he led me, he didn't have to I knew my way around the house already, he was acting so strange; stranger than usual.

"Well I guess good night," I said shoving the door open, leaving him.

The next morning I woke up in my new room, large comfortable bed, the bright room had the paintings of me on the walls, hand carved furniture, I saw this room so many times but waking up in it was different. I outstretched my arms snuggling into the pillows, looking around I still didn't know why he let me sleep there but I didn't mind.

I slipped on a simple house dress which was a bit short but I was just going outside to check on my babies and then come back up Nicholas probably wasn't up yet so I was fine. I exited my new 'wing' and sashayed out the door and down the hall when I heard murmuring from below me. I leaned over the balcony where Nicholas was standing with another gentleman. They spoke but I couldn't make out what they were saying or I couldn't see the other man's face but he was nicely dressed. Everyone in his world always looked so put together and I wasn't even near together. They shook hands and he left, Nicholas ascended the stairs quickly, I kept walking acting like I didn't see him,

"Good morning Nylah" he approached, his sleeves were rolled up around his bicep just threatening to tear the material, I really needed to get control of my thoughts,
