Maddie's POV
I feel like punching Ethan hard on the face. I have to behave because of my son, I don't want him to think that I hate his father.
Finally, we reach the park. I quickly got out of the car because I can't control myself anymore because he keeps on provoking me.
"Mommy look" Nate looked so happy. I was confused so I asked him what and he said he wants to go and play with them.
"Baby, you don't know them" I said
"I know one of them"he run towards them. I followed him there
"Hunter, meet my mommy and my daddy "he pointed to where Ethan was standing
"Uncle Ethan is your daddy?" The little boy queried confusedly
"Yes" he answered happily
Ethan approached us and carried Hunter. He asked him where his parents are. He showed him and he pulled me to him. He held my hands again.
"Leave me alone"I hissed
"Please behave just for today" he smirked
"Hello bro" the woman looked at him with a confused face
"Hey" he responded
"So finally you found her" she said smiling
"Yeah"he smiled
She stretched her hands to greet me "hi I'm Amelia Ethan's elder sister"
"Hello , am Madeline but I prefer to be called Maddie"I smiled at her.
Ethan pulled me into his arms again. On my God, I am so furious to the extent that I can kill him today.
"Let's talk please" he whispered into my ears. I nodded
" Amelia, please take care of my son for me" he said
"Your son?!!" She was confused
He assured her that he will explain later.
We went to sit on a bench under a tree.
"Now spill it" I said harshly
His facial expression changed " I want to take you back to LA."
"Hey, have you hit your head somewhere" I nearly laugh
"I'm fucking damn serious right now, I want our family to be together now. Please give me a chance to be with you again. I love you so much baby. Stop acting difficult"he pleaded
"I can see that you are not in your right mind at the moment, talk to me when you are okay" I excused myself
"Is he crazy or what" I thought to myself
"Maddie, we are getting married whether you like it or not" he said sternly and hugged at the back. I pushed him away and slapped him. "You must be mad or sick in your head, what do you take me for huh?!!! You dumped me and you come to talk nonsense!!!!Listen to me and listen carefully I won't marry you. You better stop this possessive sickness of yours" I was fucking angry.
"I'm leaving, make sure to bring my son before 6pm"
"Maddie please, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry please forgive me"I turned and saw him on his knees crying.
I ignored him and left. I went home and cried. I know I act strong outside but I'm weak inside. I want to forgive him but all the pain he caused me keep rushing back anytime I try.
Later, he brought my son back home. I know my son is pissed off from the look of his face. I tried to carry him but he pushed me away. I swear to God if this man turn my son against me, I will surely kill him. I felt neglected by my own son. He's too young to understand whatever is happening between me and his father right now. He went to his room and I followed him to bath him and put him to bed. After bathing him and dressed him in his pajamas. I took his favorite story book to read to him but he said "mommy I'm feeling sleepy so no need to read me any book" I was speechless. He was crying and I hugged him forcedly. "Baby I wish you can understand your mommy" I kissed him forehead and left the room.
I went to the kitchen to drink water and saw my parents.
"Mom dad, Nate is angry with me and I don't know what to do" I sighed
"Honey, we understand you but why don't you go to Georgia with Ethan" Mom said
" I know he hurt you and you forgiving him might make you feel like you are cheap but you are not. Give yourself a chance to be happy again, he loves you and you love him too. Don't try to make the same mistake your mother almost did." He patted at my back and left
"Mommy, what did dad do you" I asked
"Today, I will tell you" she said
"I'm all ears" I sat down to listen to their interesting love story
