sunnie was once again pulled out of the room, in tears, but this time she didn't fight to go back in.
she heard her moms last words. and then the doctors last words as well.
"i'm sorry... but she didn't make it." the doctor announced to her.
sunnie was heartbroken, crying for numerous hours and hours. stayed at the hospital almost until midnight.
then she finally decided to pay attention to her phone.
[ Call from BINNIE ]
[ answer | decline ]
Moonbin:
"oh my goodness sunnie you
finally answered."
Sunnie:
"moonbin... she didn't make it."
Moonbin:
"WHAT?! oh my goodness, layu meet me somewhere right now!"

moonbin and sunnie decided to meet up by a convenient store near the school and hospital.
sunnie, still sad, was waiting and waiting for moonbin.
at the "smartest" time, rain started pooring all on sunnie, who wasn't prepared for the rain.
she started crying on the bench, still devistated about her mom passing.
suddenly, she felt someone hug her from behind, holding an umbrella.
"i'm sorry i'm late... tell me everything." moonbin said while pouting.
———TIME SKIP 1 HOUR———
"sunnie... im so so sorry to here that..." moonbin apologized for no reason. he felt really bad for his best friend. she first lost her brother, and now her mother.
sunnie was going through so much emotions. she lost her family. the one thing that she believed in. without her family... she is lonely.
she took the bus home to her moms house to take a look at everything one more time.
her moms blanket, her family pictures, her moms smile in every photo, traditional plates that they would make, traditional homemade chopsticks, her moms comfortable clothes, her moms sweatshirts, everything she owned...
and for the first time in a while, she opened the door to her brothers room. she touched his blanket, remembering the warmth of how warm his hugs were. she looked at his college degrees, remembering how smart and intelligent her brother was. his old action figures, remembering hoe childish, yet mature her brother was.
she cried, realising she has no one left in her family.
