Unexpected

The fight

We gathered on these hovering crafts filled with people. I was with Steve, Nat, T'Challa, and Bucky on one. along with some of the soldiers ready to fight our battle with us.

"How we looking, Bruce?" Natasha asked.

"Yeah, I think I'm getting the hang of it." Since apparently, Bruce couldn't transform into the big guy, we got him the Hulk Buster to be able to fight in combat. Honestly, the Hulk would be more useful right now.

He jumped in front of our craft and started running. "Wow, this is amazing. It's like being the Hulk without actually..." He never finished his sentence considering he tripped on a rock.

"You love him," I mocked Nat.

"I'm okay, I'm okay," he reassured everyone.

"I got two heat signatures breaking through the tree line," War Machine warns whilst flying ahead of us.

After a certain distance, we all jumped off the craft and lined up with the others. T'Challa, Steve, Natasha, me, and Bucky moved to be in front of the chanting warriors. Bucky had his gun ready in his hands, but I wasn't sure what I wanted to use yet. I'm waiting to see what we're up against.

From a distance, I could see this weird looking lady creature and a taller male creature next to her. I went with the cat, the spider, and the war hero to the front of the barrier to meet these creatures.

"Where's your other friend?" Natasha started looking around confidently.

I watched each part of their bodies trying to understand what they are, but it was useless. I knew whatever weapon I used wasn't going to be enough to take them down alone.

"You will pay for his life with yours. Thanos will have that stone," Sasquatch says.

"That's not going to happen," I speak up staring straight at the beast behind the wall keeping us apart.

"You're in Wakanda now. Thanos will have nothing but dust and blood," T'Challa seethed.

"We have blood to spare." The she mammoth raises her sword and lets out a grunt signaling for something. That's when the things that fell from the sky started making a noise and moving.

The four of us decided to go back to our previous positions by the people we were to fight alongside.

"They surrender?" Bucky asked as we made it to our previous place. Steve was now next to Bucky and I stood on the other side with Nat.

"Not exactly," Cap stated staring out to where the monsters are, as we all did. The soldiers still chanting, led by their king.

As a few moments passed, we thought those two were strange creatures, too bad the ones that came out of the forest were uglier and stranger than they are.

"What the hell," Barnes gasped.

Finally deciding on a weapon, I draw out my long sword, something similar to what my ancestors used.

"Looks like we pissed her off," Natasha says checking out the backup that ugly Betty brought with her.

As the monsters came running to the protective dome, I noticed some body parts braking through but being cut off and killing these beings in the process. The problem with this was, it didn't seem to phase them.

"They're killing themselves," Okoye stated shocked.

As their attempts did not stop eventually a couple at a time slipped past the barrier without dying or any amputations. The soldiers raised their shields and weapons in front of us and towards the enemy.
