You and Luke pull away from each other. "O-oh uhh my moms home." He stuttered. "We should probably begin anyways" you say awkwardly. You both get out your history books and begin, you both take turns reading out loud. After a while Lukes mother opens the door and he introduces you two, his mothers name is Liz and shes really cool and laid back. After that his mom leaves to go shopping and you guys continue. You guys get bored so you both lay down on his bed and begin talking. "Who gives their students a project at the beginning of school year anyways" he says laughing.
"I'm pretty sure she secretly hates our class, who gives homework on the first day" you say smirking.
"aren't teachers suppose to wait a week anyways" he say laughing. You guys talk for hours you check your phone and sit up its 7:30. "I have to be home in 30 minutes" you say. " But I was having fun" Luke whines. You give in and stay another 10 minutes.
