Dani's POV
We walk over to the girl, I tap her shoulder.
"Hi," I smile," I'm Dani"
"Umm I have pepper spray" she raises her eyebrow
"Calm down, I need to talk to you, I'm your friend" I charmspeak
"Okay" she mumbles
We sit on a bench," What's your name?"
"Georgia" she says
"Georgia, I have to tell you something it might seem crazy but you must believe me"
She looks confused," Just remember I have pepper spray"
"Georgia, you're a demigod, which means one of your parents is a god. Either Greek or Roman. I don't know which one but I know you're a demigod. Listen we have to take you to a special camp for demigods, like me and and my friends, Leo and Selena"
I explain.
Leo and Selena walk over.
"Hi, I'm Leo, son of Hephaestus" Leo smiles crookedly
"I'm Selena daughter of Apollo"
"You guys are crazy" Georgia frowns, and pulls out a small canister
"Put that down!" I charmspeak.
She drops the pepper spray.
"Think about it, are you dyslexic or ADHD?" Leo asks
"Yes" Georgia says," Both actually"
"Do you only have one parent?" I ask
"Well yeah" she sighs
"And lastly do you ever seen strange things, but other people don't seem to see them too" Selena asks
"Yes" Georgia whimpers
"You're a demigod and you're coming with us" Selena smiles
"What about your parent?" I ask
"He won't notice I'm gone anyway" she sighs
We walk down the street," Georgia, we can't go to camp right away, we're on a quest. You'll have to help us"
She nods," Don't worry if there's any strange monsters I can beat their behind!"
Leo laughs," Calm down"
"We need to get to Mount Tam, but be careful, that's we're the garden of the Hesperides is. That's dangerous, there's a hundred headed dragon that guards it" Selena says
We go to the ferry booth, and purchase tickets that will take us to Mount Tam
As soon as we board Georgia's eyes widen,"Look, there's a monster" she points
I turn and see a scaly women walking towards us.
"Hurry hurry" I tell Leo and Selena
We hop on the ferry quickly.
Leo sits next to me in the front of the ferry.
"You know San Francisco is nice, even thought there's monsters everywhere" I smile
"Yeah, and there's the mountain of despair, but it's nice'' Leo agrees
I look at him and smile.
"I didn't know you wanted to be a psychologist, or be a mom"
"Well I've always thought the way the brain works is fascinating, and learning about mental conditions and stuff. And I've always wanted to be a mom, I wanted to be a good mom who was there for her child" I explain blushing slightly
"That's cool, and different then most Aphrodite girls" Leo smiles
I shrug.
The ferry stops," Come on, guys" Selena says
"Are they dating?" Georgia asks Selena
"Yes, their in loooooove" Selena jokes looking back at me
We walk off the ferry, and I look up and see a huge gray mountain with what I recognize as mist around it.
"That's it the mountain of despair" Selena smirks sarcastically
The group of tourists follows a tour guide, but we hike up the mountain in the opposite direction.
"So I'm thinking the manticore should be at the top of the mountain where Kronos's throne was" Selena suggests
"This is all too crazy" Georgia mutters out of breath
"Well get used to it" Leo laughs
After about an hour of hiking, and fighting the occasional monster, we reach a small clearing.
Turns out Georgia's pepper spray can vaporize monsters.
Who knew?
The clearing has lush green grass, and patches of beautiful flowers that we're so bright they could glow in the dark.
In the center of the garden is a golden tree with golden apples.
"Oh no we have to turn around'' Selena says
I see three girl sashay out of nowhere and start dancing.
"Come dance with us!" one giggles
I stand still, but Leo, Selena, and Georgia walk closer
"No!" I scream," Don't dance with them!"
"Ooh a boy!" Another one squeals
"He's cute!" the third one smiles
"Let's keep him" they say in unison
Leo walks over to them, and they're about to plant a kiss on his cheek
I run in front of Leo, "Leave him alone!" I scream suddenly the girls are shot backwards by some force.
I did that?
"Come on let's get out of here!" Selena yells.
"Too late" Georgia whimpers
A huge dragon comes stomping out of the mountains.
It has a hundred heads with sharp teeth and beady eyes.
Selena pulls out her sword, Georgia uncaps her pepper spray, and Leo pulls out a chainsaw.
What do I have? A bow and arrow.
I load my bow, and shoot at one of the heads.
It gets angry, and charges towards me.
Just as it's about to bit my head off, I slide under it's legs, and stab it with one of my arrows.
It doesn't vaporize into to golden dust.
I crawl out from under the monster, and shoot in it's thick neck.
I look up, and see Selena slashing at the monster so fast all I see is a blur.
Leo's throwing balls of fire at the monster.
I shoot more arrows, in it's heads.
"We can't kill this!" Selena screams," RUN!"
We all run up the mountain, surprisingly the dragon doesn't follow us.
"It guards the tree, so it stays by the tree" Selena says between breaths.
We make it up the mountain slowly still catching our breath.
"Oh my gods," I gasp," get down!"
We all duck behind a rock.
There's about a dozen monsters, and one of them is the manticore.
"Does anyone smell 4 halfbloods?" one of the monsters hisses
