Interview Questions:
What inspired you to write this piece?
Well, my main inspiration was birds really - more specifically finches. Many notes in the piece end just a little early, just like finches stop and start suddenly without warning. Also, there was rivers. To be honest, lots of inspirations, but I'll stop here because it could go on all day.
What does music mean to you?
One of my favourite things is music. It's just... nice. I don't know. I already answered this anyway.
What do you love about performing?
Most people find performing scary, but I don't. It's so good to get to show off what you've practiced and learned.
Who/what are your major artistic influences?
Lots of stuff. My music teacher mostly. And my bird Pythagoras. He sings nicely.
