"Dougie, where are going?" I asked getting out of the cab.

"You'll see." He said grinning.

We walked onto the sidewalk and walked for about a block.

"Here it is." He said.

"Miller's Music Shop" said the sign on the building.

What a cute store.

I got side-tracked and started to blush, over the fact that the Harry, Danny, and Dougie were all talking about how cute I was when I was gone.

"Del?" He asked.

Dougie's POV:

"Oh, sorry." Del said after spacing out.

She was blushing, big time.

I just glanced at her.

She was super cute...

"Dougie, you have a beautiful, beautiful girlfriend." I reminded myself mentally.

Maybe it was just me, but it seemed as if Tom did not take liking to her. Not sure why though.

Danny seemed to forget about his girlfriend, Emma completely; it was obvious he fancied Del. I couldn't let that happen, not Danny.

I mean I love Danny, but I don't trust him with her.

Why do I feel so protective of her?

Delilah's POV:

"Dougie! Let's go in!" I said enthusiastically.

I couldn't wait to get in.

I opened the door and I saw almost everyone kind of stringed instrument possible.

"Wow..." I said.

"It's great, isn't it?" Dougie said.

I immediately eyed a beautiful Taylor acoustic guitar and ran towards it.

"Someone's excited." Dougie said chuckling.

"This is beautiful! Look at it, Dougie!" I said.

"It is. So, why don't you play something?" He asked.

"Oh, I don't think so..." I said with my voice trailing off.

"Whatever. They hired you because you're a musician, so play something!" He said.

"Okay, fine!"

I started to strum out the intro and sang.

I'm gonna pick up the pieces,

And build a Lego house

If things go wrong we can knock it down

My three words have two meanings,

There's one thing on my mind

It's all for you

And it's dark in a cold December, but I've got you to keep me warm

If you're broken I will mend you and keep you sheltered from the storm that's raging on now

I'm out of touch, I'm out of love

I'll pick you up when you're getting down

And out of all these things I've done I think I love you better now

I'm out of sight, I'm out of mind

I'll do it all for you in time

And out of all these things I've done I think I love you better now

I'm gonna paint you by numbers

And colour you in

If things go right we can frame it, and put you on a wall

And it's so hard to say it but I've been here before

Now I'll surrender up my heart

And swap it for yours

I'm out of touch, I'm out of love

I'll pick you up when you're getting down

And out of all these things I've done I think I love you better now

I'm out of sight, I'm out of mind

I'll do it all for you in time

And out of all these things I've done I think I love you better now

Don't hold me down

I think my braces are breaking and it's more than I can take

And it's dark in a cold December, but I've got you to keep me warm

If you're broken I will mend you and keep you sheltered from the storm that's raging on now

I'm out of touch, I'm out of love

I'll pick you up when you get down

And out of all these things I've done I think I love you better now

I'm out of sight, I'm out of mind

I'll do it all for you in time

And out of all these things I've done I think I love you better now

I'm out of touch, I'm out of love

I'll pick you up when you get down

And out of all these things I've done I think I love you better now

I'm out of sight, I'm out of mind

I'll do it all for you in time

And out of all these things I've done I think I love you better now

I'm out of touch, I'm out of love

I'll pick you up when you get down

And out of all these things I've done I will love you better now

I stopped and took a breath.

Why was I so nervous?

Dougie started clapping and cheering.

"Loving the Ed Sheeran. That was so good!" He said hugging me.

"Thanks, Dougie."

I just stayed there, hugging him, and I looked up at him.

Then a boisterous, ring tone sounded off.

"What's up, mate?" Dougie said answering the phone.

"WHERE ARE YOU?!"

Here we go again.

Author's Note: Who was on the other end of the phone? What's with Dougie's mixed feelings? Hope you enjoyed this chapter.
