"Man, it's been too long. I hope Mom and the others remember me since I was left in Duckburg for 17 years and I can't wait to see everyone again-" Gracie said.
Gracie was cut off by the tall man placing his index finger on her mouth.
The tall man looked at her and took her hand into his hand.
Launchpad began to feel a little jealous inside and saw that the tall man stopped the friends in front of a long vine curtain.
The tall man brought Gracie through the vine curtain with her sister and two cousins following right behind as everyone stood there in shock after seeing what had happened.
"Guys, come here, quick! You have to see this! We've actually found my family." Gracie said happily.
The group went through the vine curtain to see hut like houses either strapped to or in the trees and just sitting on the ground as Gracie looked at them and smiled.
"Josh, thank goodness for you and my daughter and nephews to be back." A woman who looked to be forty years old said in relief and looked at Gracie and her friends and gasped surprisingly at her own 17 year old daughter all grown up now.
Gracie also looked at the woman and was embarrassed by how surprised the woman was and walked forward as did the woman and they both hugged each other.
K looked at Gracie and smiled happily to see her own daughter again and declared a celebration party for the return of Gracie.
Later at the celebration party, everyone was dancing and having fun with Gracie being back.
"Hey, Gracie." Josh said dancing up to Gracie.
She was dancing and smiled at him.
"Hi, Josh. So, you have no gem whatsoever?"
"Nope, I was born a normal human being. You've been living with talking and walking ducks with clothes? How did it feel for you before you came to find us?"
"Yeah and I was getting used to it by now. I mean, they aren't that bad once you get to know them."
Gracie laughed a little as Josh did a random dance and Launchpad still had felt a little bit of jealousy in him and didn't want to tell Gracie about it at first.
Launchpad then went to go sit down in a wooden chair and looked right next to him to see Gracie's mom sitting in the same chair.
Gracie's mom smiled at him.
He fell out of the chair and got back up off of the ground.
"I'm glad someone loves my daughter very much."
"H-how did you know that?"
"I know things. Look, Gracie is going to sing for us. It's been so long since I've heard her sing."
Launchpad then looked in the direction of Gracie holding a microphone and she looked at everyone with the most happiest smile she's ever had.

Josh lifts Gracie onto his shoulders and cheers with everyone.
Launchpad got up from the wooden chair and went up to the room in the hut like house that was strapped in a nearby tree he and Gracie would be sleeping in for the night since Gracie would be in the room with him for another few minutes or so.
As Launchpad got up to the room, he looked out the window to see Gracie and Josh not with everyone else who were saying goodnight to each other.
"Man, I can't believe I almost froze you with ice from my gem when I was 9 years old. Good times and memories, Josh. Well, goodnight." Gracie said sighing from the memory as she opened the door to the room she and Launchpad would be sleeping in.
"Night, G." Josh said as Gracie laughed a little and turned to see Launchpad in the room with her and squeaked a little since she didn't notice him in the room in the first place.
"Oh, hey, Lauchpad, I didn't see you there."
"It's okay, Gracie." Launchpad said when he started to hum a tune as Gracie slipped a blue night gown with white polka dots on over her regular clothes and went into the bed.

Launchpad then heard a light snore and turned to see Grace fast asleep and smiled.
He walked over to the bed and got under the covers and placed his arm around Gracie as she snuggled up to him.
Launchpad could feel his face heat up and he fell asleep.
