Shane and Ryland headed to the car, hand in hand.
S - You excited
R - Yeah, but I don't know how Garrett will be
S - He was fine last night
R - Ok, well I hope he is ok
S - Yeah
Shane and Ryland get in the car and start driving to Drews house. Once they get there they pull into the driveway and head up to the door. Shane knocks on the door, Ryland standing behind him. As the door opens Shane hears loud sirens beind him. Shane and Ryland go inside the house.
D - Shane, help
S - What happened
D - Garrett.... Garrett tried to kill himself
S - *starts breaking down crying* what why
D - I don't know
R - *Hugs Shane and whispers* it's going to be ok
S - how
R - I promise
The paramedics come inside the house running upstairs.
2 minutes later
They come downstairs with Garrett lying on a stretcher. Shane sees Garrett covered in blood. He quickly kisses Rylands cheek and runs out the door, Drew and Ryland following shortly behind. The 3 boys get inside the ambulance while they are hooking Garrett up to all the machines.
P - Paramedics
S - Is he going to be ok
P - I dont know sir
S - *puts are around Ryland and leans head on shoulder* please be ok
D - Is he breathing
P - barely chances are he will be in a coma and have possible brain damage
R - Drew what even happend
D - Garrett tried to kill himself
R - Yeah, but how
D - he shot himself in the lower back
And then passed out, it was so loud and scary
They arive at the hospital and bring Garrett to immediate care, putting the two boys in the wating room.
Shane sat on the two person chair next to Ryland. Drew sat in the chair across from Shane and Ryland. Shane grabbed Rylands hand and leaned his head on Rylands shoulder. Later Shane fell asleep.
Suddenly a doctor calles them to Garrett's room
