Ariana's POV

I kept my head down when I was passing Justin at the hallways. But shit, we have English together and I walked the opposite way!

Why did it become so hard all of a sudden? I can't even say hi to him.

I turned around and walked to class.

"Yo, at lunch, you wanna join Chaz, Ryan, Luke and J-" Karson asked.

"-I'm okay." I interrupted.

"Okay. I won't go."

"You can go if you want."

"But I don't wanna"

"Okay."

"You alright?"

"Yeah."

"No your not."

"Yes I am."

"I'm your best friend, don't think I'm stupid."

"But I'm okay."

"Sure."

"I am!"

"Girls, why are you speaking so loud? would you like to share with the whole class?" Mrs. Cannes said.

"No." I whispered, sinking into my seat.

"I WANNA SHARE!" Karson yelled.

Oh. My. God.

"I asked her if she was okay and she said ya but I said no and she said ya and I said no and she said ya and I said no and-"

"-OKAY! let's begin class" Mrs. Cannes interrupted.

"See what I did there?" Karson nudged.

"You are becoming more like Chaz everyday."

"I take that as a very offensive insult."

"Why very offensive?"

"Because he's such an ass. He called me a bitch yesterday."

"Why?"

"Because... um... I'd rather not say."

"What's so secretive you can't tell me about?"

"Nothing"

"Karson?"

"I don't wanna say 'cause it involves the whole you and Justin thing..."

"Just tell me."

"Well you know when you both left, Chaz was being an idiot like always and asked 'so is the party over?' and Ryan was like 'no shit' and I told Chaz it was all his fault, blah blah blah. He got mad, called me a bitch, Luke wanted to beat his ass but Ryan stopped him and yeah... Chaz was just acting weird."

"Oh... That makes sense?"

"Girls! stop talking!" Mrs. Cannes yelled.

"Haven't you always said that being a social butterfly was a good thing? you know like having conversations. We are having a conversation now so it makes us better people" Karson said.

"Are you talking about school?"

"Who has time for that?"

"If you're not talking about school, shut it."

"Rude" Karson mumbled.

"Excuse me?"

"Nothing."

Karson looked at me and started laughing, which made me laugh!

I hate it how laughs are contagious.
