Justin's POV

I woke up and looked at the time. 8:00!?

Shit, I'm late.

I got up, ran inside my washroom and got ready.

Without mom, she's not around to wake me up. I always thought it was so annoying, but now I wish she was here to do it.

I opened my door, seeing Jazmyn and Jaxon standing there... staring at me.

"Yes?" I asked.

They just kept looking at me.

"Shoot! you guys have school!"

They still stood there.

"Right! you guys need a lunch. Um... is a sandwich okay?" I asked, walking towards the kitchen.

"Yup" Jazmyn said.

I quickly made the messiest, ugliest, most disgusting sandwich you could ever see. But I just slapped whatever we had in the fridge.

I can't drive... the bus takes too long... how do I get them to school?

I grabbed my phone out and quickly called dad.

"Hello?" he spoke.

"I need you to bring Jazmyn and Jaxon to school!" I shouted.

"Whoa. I'm bringing Tyler to school now. Why are you calling me so late? aren't your suppose to be at school?"

"My alarm didn't go off"

"I'll be there in 20 minutes"

"Can it be any faster? I'm really late!"

"I'll try."

"Thanks. Bye"

Jaxon hasn't talk ever since he found out. He's just quiet.

Usually he's the one who makes tonnes of noise at home, but I get it.

Our house never been so quiet. I can't manage it, I guess Lisa, dad and Tyler are moving in, or Jazmyn, Jaxon and I, are moving out.

"Guys? sorry I made you guys late. When did you guys wake up?" I asked.

"At 7:00. But I thought you were awake." Jazmyn said.

"Did you guys eat breakfast?"

"There is none"

"Are you hungry?"

"Kinda"

Jaxon just shook his head.

I went inside the kitchen and quickly flipped the last egg in the fridge.

"Jaxon? you hungry?" I asked again.

He didn't say a word.

I put the egg on the plate and handed it to Jazmyn.

I kneeled down, "C'mon buddy. I know you're upset, but you need to eat something." I said softly to Jaxon.

He shook his head.

"You want to watch some tv?" I asked.

He shook his head.

He loves his toy cars and LEGO people... should that work?

I grab one of his toy cars and put it i front of him.

He pushed it away.

He's just a little boy. I don't know how to let him know that dying is a part of life.
