"Nice to see you back, sweetheart."

"Watch yourself."

Autumn ran the bar rag along the recently spilt water avoiding the hand the man was about to lay on her.

"I'll ask once that you keep your hands off of me."

The man went to grab her wrist as she pulled the pistol from her back laying it on the bar counter.

"I'm not scared to protect myself, this isn't my first rodeo."

The mans face turned pale as he got up and walked away.

Her phone that sat in her back pocket started to vibrate as she continued to wipe down the counter.

"Is Tanner okay?"

"Yeah. She and Andy are watching Toy Story. She asked me to call and ask when you'd be home."

"Unless it's an emergency I still have another two hours."

"Alright. I'm going to take Andy to one of the guest rooms."

"Let me talk to Tanner."

Autumn's mother handed the tattooed girl her phone as she slowly woke her son up to move him.

"Your moms great but I miss you."

"I miss you, too. Are you going to be alright for a while longer?"

The tattooed girl gently placed her hand against her temple.

"Yeah I just- yeah I'll be fine."

"Tanner what's wrong?"

"I feel worse then I did earlier."

"What do you mean?"

"My whole body hurts, I'm sweating like crazy and I think I'm gonna be sick."

"Okay listen call out to my mom."

Autumn listen to the taller girl calls out to the older woman.

"Mrs. Foster!"

"Let me talk to her, babe."

Autumn waits for the phone to be given to her mother before speaking.

"I'm on my way home now. Start trying to get her shirt off. I'll be there in a couple minutes."

The bartender informed her boss before rushing out to her car.

She opens the front door as Tanner is in tears.

"Sweetheart we can't get it off it hurts her too much."

Autumn grabs her kitchen scissors, before cutting Tanner's shirt off.

"It hurts."

"I know baby."

Tanner grips the shorter girls thigh as the scissors cut the bandages.

"Oh my god."

The tattooed girl attempted to look at her chest but was cut off by Autumn.

"Focus on me, match my breathing."

The shorter girl pulled out her phone while watching her girlfriend in pain.

"This isn't an emergency but I need help moving my girlfriend to a hospital. She was released from the hospital yesterday. She's healing from a gunshot wound to the chest and it's infected. I can't move her by myself she's in too much pain. I need help."
