The sound of the 6:30 am alarm is shrill and wakes me up abruptly. I groan and slam it with the palm of my hand; trust me to have forgotten to turn it off. I huff and slam my body back down on to my bed; forgetting that Paul is lying next to me. I hear him laugh under his breath,

'Bloody hell love, it's only an alarm'

'I didn't want to wake up though'

I yawn and pull the duvet up to my eyes, gazing at Paul over the top of it. He does the same with the duvet and I smile, even though he can't see it. I close my eyes, and I feel him pull my body towards him, and I curl up next to him. My head is on his chest and I can hear his heartbeat. Both of us lie there for a minute, saying nothing.

'Paul?'

'Yea?'

'I can't get back to sleep'

I look at him and he smirks at me,

'Neither can I'

'I know what you're getting at, and I'm sorry but I'm too tired'

He pouts,

'Yes but this will wake you up'

He wiggles his eyebrows jokingly, and I shake my head at him, smiling,

'Maybe later, but I do need to sleep'

'Maybe? That's not good enough'

'Okay, probably'

He shakes his head,

'Nope, still not good enough'

I close my eyes and huff,

'Okay, when we get back to Liverpool, then 100% yes we will, is that good enough'

He kisses my lips,

'Much better'

I manage to sleep for a few hours, until Lucy knocks on the door, waking both of us up. She speaks as loudly as possible deliberately, and barges in with two mugs of tea,

'Morning!'

I sigh; sitting up and rubbing my eyes. I make sure to keep the duvet tucked under my armpits so I don't accidentally expose myself; that'd be just my luck.

'Morning, Lucy'

She hands us the tea, and we both thank her. Paul sits up to drink it, exposing his bare chest and her eyes widen,

'My god are you two naked?!'

I laugh at her,

'Yes?'

She grimaces,

'Ew, why?'

I open my mouth to speak but she interrupts,

'Actually i don't want to know, mother wants to know if you want breakfast before you leave'

'Yes, that's be lovely thanks'

Paul nods,

'Tell her I said thank you'

She smiles, then her expression changes,

'This might sound weird, but can I take a picture of you two, I think it'd look sweet'

Paul nods,

'I don't mind'

Before I can answer I hear the click of the camera, Paul looks surprised and I turn to her, smiling, she takes another picture and puts my camera back on my desk.
