I wake up in an empty bed; which is extremely atypical. The only other time that Paul's woken up earlier than me while we've been together is on my birthday, when he woke up an hour earlier than usual to make me pancakes. He burnt them but the thought was there.

I realise why he's up before me- it's to take Lucy somewhere, anywhere, away from here. I sit up, rubbing my face with my hands. I check the time- 8:30 am. Very early for Paul.

I also remember that Violet didn't wake me up in the night at all, which is convenient. Guess she knew I didn't need any stress on top of the situation with Lucy. It's not that big of a deal- it's just upsetting because I trust(ed) her most in the world.

I go in and check Violet; who smiles when she sees me.

'Hello, beautiful'

I smile at her; cradling her as I pick her up. I head to the kitchen to prepare her bottle. As I do so I turn on the radio. I bob around to the music with Violet in my arms; looking up at me through her very-John-like half lidded eyes.

As the microwave pings; the door swings open. Paul enters in his trench coat; looking flustered.

'Morning, Paul'

His face relaxes as he sees me, and he walks over and kisses my cheek.

'Morning, love'

'You're going to the studio today?'

Paul nods,

'Yep. Think they want to talk to us about making a film too; I don't know if the other guys will be interested. Especially John'

That sounds about right. A film doesn't sound up John's street, but it would get him extra money. Who doesn't love money.

I hand Violet to Paul,

'Want to feed her?'

He nods eagerly as I hand him the bottle,

'I'm gonna get ready then we'll go yeah?'

'Yeah, want me to get Violet ready?'

I kiss him,

'Please. You're so good!'

He laughs as I head to the bathroom have a shower. I decide that I'm going to wear a summery black dress with a pink floral pattern and some black pumps. Oh and tights- it's too cold to not wear them. I keep my makeup simple but do some winged eyeliner.

As I head back in to the kitchen, Paul has Violet in her carrier. She's got a winter hat and her winter coat on. She's also got some leggings and winter boots on. I pull on my coat and a black bobble hat, and head to Paul's car.

The drive to the studio isn't too long; about 20 minutes. The Beatles play on the radio three times during the drive, and Paul's face lights up every time he hears himself.

I decide on taking Violet in without her carrier, and just carry her in her blanket instead. She's very smiley today. I whisper to her so Paul can't hear,

'Excited to see daddy?'

She's gripping my finger right in her fist and is smiling. I kiss her lightly and follow Paul inside.

Everything inside the studio is pristine; including the employees. All of the men are in suits and all of the women are in pencil skirts and blouses with their hair tied up in tight buns.

As we walk in a woman walks up to us immediately and leads us to a room where the other boys are. She looks at me skeptically, as if she thinks I'm a crazed fan following Paul around. She smiles in a sickly sweet way when she realises we're together, then heads back to the reception desk.
